    Bread and pastry selections.

Hands down this is one of the best pastry shops in Strasbourg. It has been getting more social media attention. There is a line and little standing room and three small tables. We sat outside and enjoyed our pastries and our Parisian sandwich. This pastry shop is just as good as any top notch place in Paris.

Certainly some language barriers, but lots of fun options!! I really enjoyed my sandwich and chocolate brioche. There was a long line but they're efficient about keeping the line moving. The macaroons unfortunately fell short.

Food was excellent, the service was very efficient and it was a busy, enjoyable atmosphere ..... definitely worth stopping in.

Nutella croissant - fluffy inside, excellent lamination

This is one the highest rated bakeries in downtown Strasbourg. Had to try it, of course. When I showed up, there was a line. It's a really small shop. Inside is tiny with 4 barstools at a window and a back area with a few seats. There are two picnic tables in the front. Many family groups here for the Christmas Markets - a busy time! Let's look at the pastries/ the viennoiserie: a good selection but I couldn't see the them easily due to the crowds of people (let's call them gawkers). One family member to order, everyone else looking to see what they want :/ in the small shop. I chose a chocolate croissant which ended up being a Nutella croissant. Good lamination and soft texture. Not very buttery. Slightly flaky but not crispy. Ample Nutella! I also got a chausson au pomme for later. I can say this was the better choice. Inside the flaky pastry was applesauce like fruit. Very affordable with most pastries less than 2€s! The Chausson was balanced - not too sweet. I chose a chai latte with soy to drink. Glad they had alternative milk. It was weak tasting :( Service was quick as there was a troop of three young ladies behind the counter picking up customers choices. The sandwiches, the bread and the desserts all looked good. Overwhelming but good experience at L'Atelier 116. Food (viennoiserie): 3 out of 4 Service: 3.5 out of 4 Ambiance: 3 out of 4

One of the highlights of our stay in Strasbourg. That sandwich in the back was so good. Brie and a sweet relish the bread was so good. I wish there was the equivalent in Orlando but no there isn't.

Stopped by Atelier 116 and had a wonderful time thanks to the friendly English-speaking staff, fresh pastries, and delicious hot beverages. It's almost perfect, but I'm giving it four stars because of the limited seating. It's best to think of this as a grab-and-go spot, especially when it's busy--the line can make the space inside feel pretty cramped. Great for a quick treat if you don't mind the crowd

Very decent pastries. The croissant was in the classic style and you could taste the quality of the butter it was made with. A line out the door which means they are doing something right. I would return here.

What a wonderful and delectable stop this was! We loved it so much we went back a few times during our stay in Strasbourg. There are enough choices to make your head spin...from sandwiches to pastries, to breads! Every time we walked by, there seemed to be a line out the door - with good reason. We had the mille feuille and the fruit tart, both of which were so flavorful and so fresh. I wish we had enough room to try the bread - just the wall full of a variety breads had me drooling, but alas, just the two items this time. The butteriness of the fruit tart crust as well as the Mille feuille, the creaminess Of the Mille filling, and the pastry flakiness is literally one for the books. The best. I'll be back ;)

Great place to get a real good breakfast! Order a croissant and a cappuccino or onion tart and latte, so much to choose from! Awesome breads, tarts and Alsatian specialties and they are all bio and organic! The people serving are really nice and helpful! Go early in the morning to make sure you secure a table! Very popular place with the locals!!

    Delicious pastries!

Great pastries, cappuccino, and espresso. Friendly staff with outdoor seating. Get there early, there's a wait, but they move fast!

Ok I am so thankful to find an escape from this European arctic freeze of some sort that basically dropped the temps 10 degrees F to the mid 20's. Thankfully, I was able to make a pit stop while exploring Petite France at this bakery/coffee shop. Very cozy here with decent seating; however, if you can't find a table, they have 6 stool bar seats which worked out for me as I am traveling solo. Staff hear speaks English (THANK GOODNESS). All the pastries looked so delectable; however, I was only able to fit in a few munchies as it was nearing dinner time. -hot chocolate as hand warmers: perfect amount of milk and chocolate ratio. Not too sweet which was what I needed to compliment the sweets -Nutella beignet: they have an assortment of beignet flavors ranging from framboise (raspberry, plain, cream). I chose chocolate naturally bc I'm a chocolate monster. Not exactly the New Orleans beignets I've had, but it was nice and fluffy with a slight chewy texture topped with dark chocolate shavings, sliced in half with a good spread of Nutella sandwiched in between. -raspberry macaron: nice and chewy with a refreshing cream in the middle. Warm, cozy and super inviting here with delicious food to back it up ! If anything, it makes for a good spot to just rest your sore feet. Highly recommend !!

Line out the door. Delicious pastries and cakes, sandwiches. Pretzels. And coffee, bien sur. We came back for more.

We stopped here after lunch during our stroll through town to buy a pretzel. They have a few different types of them, but we stuck with traditional. It was good. The next day we just happened to end up here the next morning for breakfast also. They had lots of options. Because we weren't sure what the kids would eat we ordered quite a few things. We got a cold sandwich, a broiled sandwich with cheese and ham inside, a pretzel, a cookie, a loaf of bread, a muffin, a chocolate pastry and a coffee. We found a table outside and feasted. Lots of leftovers came with us (and I hoarded the bread and cookie for myself). This place was steady busy often with a line out the door but it moves quick. The staff was super friendly. Definitely impressed.

Best pastries and coffee was divine! Truly worth the visit to bring boys here for an authentic French pastry experience.
