It's almost overwhelming to find this much variety in a single space. The smell of fresh baked bread, glass counters in front of salads and freshly made sandwiches, pastries, there is a lot to see here. If this is your first time, I suggest climbing the stairs and looking down from above. It will give you a better perspective of the layout so that you can explore properly. I was already stuffed from the wine and sausage from the Weihnachtsmarkt so no purchases today. But lots of browsing. I'll need to come back to here. Surely there's a food tour that can help? There is normally at least two or three fruit and vegetable stalls, one or two sausage and cheese stalls, another for fish and a bakery van. Most times there is also a florist. The produce here is excellent!! Expect to pay more than you would in the supermarket however the quality exceeds any supermarket expectation. You will find the tradesmen at the marktplatz, behind the church.

The fruits and veggies are picture perfect and so wonderfully fresh and tasty. And the selection of honey is stunning. I never knew there was so many! You can also eat along the way: fresh roasted chicken, wursts... pastries... It's a lovely market, with music, and also a very happy gathering of people. I love the whole atmosphere. We have markets here, one in our own neighborhood in fact, but it can't hold a candle to this one.
