Brandon P. with Meridian Concrete came out to bid our job on 12/18/25 and quoted us $2396 for our…read morejob, and then said he could get it down to $2,200. I reached out to him a month later to accept the bid. Brandon P. from Meridian Concrete | Meridian Curbing & Landscape: Hey Ted Brandon here. I talked with the owner we would need to be at $2,395.98 This would provide concrete a piece of equipment to install and our mobilization fees to get someone out there to do it. This wouldn't provide any digging or any extras then facilitating and laying down the concrete. Let me know what direction you would like to go and how we can help! I do appreciate your time today! Brandon P. from Meridian Concrete | Meridian Curbing & Landscape: If you can confirm with the person building the structure I can get this down to $2,200 if all we have to do is facilitate concrete and lay it down! Let me know and I can send you a formal quote. So the formal bid comes over and it's $3,031! When questioned about the $831 increase, he tells me: Brandon P. from Meridian Concrete | Meridian Curbing & Landscape: Yes and I did mention to you there is also the cost of concrete itself we have to be able to factor in mobilization and the labor for that time being there with equipment. I then pointed out that his earlier text stated: "This would provide concrete a piece of equipment to install and our mobilization fees to get someone out there to do it." He literally said the price included material, equipment and labor. When I called out his B.S he replied: Brandon P. from Meridian Concrete | Meridian Curbing & Landscape: Pricing also went up 10% at the beginning of the year Jan 1st with the material costs from our suppliers so there's things us as a company have to factor in we also lose half a day providing this service so it has to make sense. I understand where you are coming from but when we met it was also in December before the price increases. The first time he mentions a material cost increase is when I called him on the carpet, and 10% increase on the whole job would be $220. Folks, don't waste your time lining up your other contractors unless your prepared for their bait and switch games!

My new driveway extension looked great when it was finished. The price was reasonable, compared…read morewith other companies. Soon after, I noticed that the lid to the electrical box in the driveway extension did not sit flush, and rocked back and forth when stepped on. After waiting 5 months to get a response, Kevin W with Meridian Concrete said that it would cost ME an additional $2100 to fix the problem that should have been done correctly at the beginning of the project! I'm not paying MORE MONEY to a project that already cost $3950. At this time, Meridian Concrete refuses to fix their mistake.
