Went in to get an estimate a week prior and another customer was waiting and I asked her why she came here. She followed him from the dealer where he installed and she already had several cars done by him. If people follow your business like that, you are great at what you do. Steve came to my house to do two windows, about 4.5'x6' each. We weren't sure which amount of tint…read morewe wanted so he held up two of them, and when we hesitated, he said, "are we here to install or to shop?" I really should have told him to leave then. He was annoyed at every turn and after he tinted them we didn't like it and had him take it down. That was our choice and had nothing to do with the good job he did installing the tint. He asked if we were going to pay him and we told him of course we would since it wasn't his fault we didn't like it. He charged us $890 which I thought was way too much for two windows. Paxton lives in the Asheville area and came out right away to look at a sliding window in my metal building that had been broken during the course of a break-in. He measured and offered a solution that was much, much more reasonable than the estimate I received from the supplier of the metal building. The time between ordering the glass and installation took about 2 weeks but was well worth the wait. Paxton is a professional, pleasant, engaging and customer oriented. His work is very good and he is very neat while going about it... I recommend Glass Doctor. P.S. They saved me over $1,000 !!
