I hate to give such a low grade to a minority owned small business, but let me tell you I called to…read moremake an appointment to get my windows tinted at 50% tint grade. Before I can book an appointment, I had to Zelle a partial payment to secure my appointment, which was no big deal. Once I got to my location on my appointment date, I was told it would take one hour to one hour and a half. It took 3 1/2 hours to complete. I noticed the Window tinting was very dark had some bubbles and missing window tint in 2 areas which I was told by Staff that in 3 to 5 days the bubbles should go away. Anyway, I parked my vehicle for two weeks one to vacation upon returning a noticed that the vehicle had lots of bubbles still on the window tinting and two areas of the windows were not covered in tint. It was cut wrong. when I contacted the place they told me to come at 5 o'clock to fix the problem. Once I got on scene at 5 o'clock the work on my vehicle was not started until almost 7 PM as well as told multiple times that to window tinting bubbles would go away in two more weeks, which is a lie. One of tinting bumps go away in 3 to 5 days not 30 days. My vehicle window tinting was not completed till almost 9 o'clock at night. That's around eight hours of work split into the two days. When I asked the person about the tinting being darker than I requested, they told me that they did not carry 50% tinting and took it upon themselves to install 35% window tinting which makes my windows very dark nonetheless between both appointments. Again, I requested 50% on the phone and they told me that they do 50% on the phone. Very deceiving on their end. I never received a receipt and then on that note I do not recommend this location.

Eric was phenomenal to work with: professional, incredibly courteous, and genuinely a joy throughout the entire process. No matter how many requests I threw their way, the answer was always yes, and the follow‑through was flawless. The tent team? Absolutely outstanding. They showed up ready to go, handled every detail with care, and brought the same kindness and professionalism that made the whole experience feel effortless. They went above and beyond at every turn. Couldn't ask for more. SpeedPro earned every bit of this praise.

It brightened up my day during this craziness. Then I started seeing similar signs displaying the Chicago flag too. After a little sleuthing I figured out that these signs were the work of Eric and his team at SpeedPro's South Loop store. My wife and I decided to get one to put up outside our townhouse. It's a breeze to purchase them online. It's even easier to pick them up safely without even having to go inside. The sign is well made and reasonably priced and Eric is donating 25% of the proceeds to the Red Cross. As it happens, there was a small issue with the U.S. flag hope sign I picked up. (Some mounting holes were mispunched.) Eric couldn't have been more stand-up about it. He immediately offered to send me a replacement. When I volunteered to swing by again and pick it up, he threw in a SPREAD KINDNESS sign too. It's good to see a business finding a way to stay open and do some good during the lockdown. Keep up the good work!

I would give DPM Auto Pros zero stars if I could…read more I contacted David to detail my car's interior and address some staining issues. We aligned on the priorities as follows: 1. Fix the staining on the driver-side door 2. Fix staining on the back seat interior 3. Complete general interior detailing David started with the lowest-priority item first, which I was initially fine with because he said he needed to get paint/dye to address the staining. I was actually encouraged that we were making progress and agreed to prepay for those materials, which turned out to be a big mistake. For the past month, I have tried repeatedly to get in touch with David and DPM Auto Pros, with no success. I have been completely ignored. There has been no follow-up, no proactive communication, and no effort to complete the priority work we discussed and that I prepaid for. It has now been over a month since I paid for the materials, and I still have no resolution. At this point, it is both frustrating and disappointing. Writing this review means accepting that I likely lost $200 to a company that does not intend to finish the work it agreed to do. Unfortunately, because I paid through Venmo, I have very little recourse beyond sharing my experience publicly. I am now looking for an alternative detailing company to do the work I asked (and paid) David and DPM to do in the first place. I would strongly recommend that others be cautious before working with David and this company and will update this review with the next good detailing company I find so that anyone reading this doesn't have the bad luck of working with David and DPM Auto Pros.

And that means earning it. Mike and Jeff were the only outfit that was willing to make the trip up to get this done. It's bad, folks. Even Yelp doesn't recommend hardly any Milwaukee companies because they frankly don't want the business. They want to make friends. And they're sensitive. It's infuriating. Because as long as I get what I want and the service is upper level, I'm perfectly willing to pay...but I want what I want. With Excel, that's what you get. Mike was clear: if he comes up, he has to charge for the trip. And that's fine. Transparency is key. It's not a problem as long as you're upfront about it. Upon arrival he had options ready to choose from, and I'm not new to tinting overall, but I wanted a specific look both in and out. Both of the sample cards looked really nice, but the Llumar seemed better suited for the future exterior appearance. Didn't take too long before I had all windows fully tinted (see photos) and they cleaned up 99.9% of what was left (just a bit of water, no big deal). I advised them, once I can find a non-sensitive vendor to replace the rest of the windows I'd be more than delighted to have them back to tint those with the same Llumar. It was refreshing to work with a company that actually WANTS business and is willing to do quality work after so many frustrating encounters with Wisconsin companies. Meanwhile...just some notes. I can't stress enough: reflective film completely changes the look of the windows. Even high-end windows don't look 100% if they don't have reflective. You do need to be mindful about how it changes interior lighting, and plan accordingly. Some people are a bit shell-shocked at the decrease in natural light; that's the tradeoff for privacy (which was my primary goal). At night, you still get a measure of privacy, because unless you've got full-blast lighting inside and white walls, it's dim looking in and you can't really make out full details. So you can even control nighttime privacy by going with more earthy colors on the walls so that light refraction is minimized. Drapes are when you want to maximize privacy, obviously. But now you only need to draw them at night vs. using them to block natural light.
