It had been a while since I went to a theatre that was not Harkins or AMC. this is a nice small place, only 5 screens I believe. The prices are super reasonable, $5 for movies starting between 4pm and 5:59pm, $6 before 4pm, and $8 for adult tickets after 6pm. By the entrance, the box office is about the same as the concessions stand, we got our tickets and skipped the popcorn or drinks (I know, kind of unusual for us). Then hubby was not feeling well and I went to check if they had any milk for sale. To my surprise they did have vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry flavored milk drinks. Not exactly milk (like 18-20 carbs each) but it did help my hubby. They do have the fountain drinks machines outside the concession stand so you can get your own drink (and refills I guess). The movie we saw was in a small auditorium, did not count but maybe 80 stadium seats, wish space for wheelchairs in the first row. Everything was OK, the only inconvenience was that the door is near the screen and it is disruptive when people come and go during the movie. Ah also, the entrance is not friendly for pedestrians. We walked from a hotel nearby and there is not entrance to the parking lot by the corner, you need to go either East or South to the entrance for cars. Overall a good experience.

For a small town theater, I am a huge fan. The prices were far better than in the valley and offered the same quality. It was also sweet and nice surprise to be able to catch an in demand movie (Avengers) and not have to show up an hour early (showed up ten mins before). The theater offered all the same concession stand grub one would expect, with a few other surprises (hot nuts-score). Great theater.

Exceeded my expectations! Very clean and comfortable seating. Cheap prices too. I didn't have the sound issues others reported below

It was the last day the theater was showing Nobody 2. I arrived a bit earlier than I expected and the man at the window informed me that I was early which wasn't a big deal. I figured I would go across the street to browse in a store. I was in the Knotty Fox for a little bit and came back across the street and noticed most of the workers were outside chit-chatting. I went inside and had my mouth set on a hot dog since I hadn't yet eaten. I was informed that they couldn't make anymore hot dogs because it would take 40 minutes before they would be ready. I had worked at the theater many years ago and unless the hot dog roller is on the fritz it does not take 40 minutes. Essentially the workers did not want to clean the machine again. So I settled for the nachos with extra cheese and jalapenos. What I received was a paper plate full of stale nachos, old looking cheese and my jalapenos. They need to bring people's food to the end where the wall is located because it was extremely inconvenient to try and get straws and napkins with other patrons reaching over trying to get their food as well. I will have to say one of the ladies was nice and helped me get more napkins when they became pushed down in the holder. It's a shame the customer service and the food has gone downhill. The theater used to be such a nice place to attend.

Management could definitely use some improvement. Would give it zero stars if I could. Save your…read moremoney and take a trip to the valley if you could.

I don't know why so many Yelpers refer to this business as a "scam." The name of the business is METEOR CRATER and that is what you get to see. What exactly were you expecting? Make sure you take the free tour. If you don't take the tour, I just don't know what to say. Inside the main building, there is a decent area with exhibits you can peruse and check out the history of other meteors that hit the earth. Some of the other meteors left craters far, far bigger than this one. Our tour was about an hour long or so--I cannot remember how long exactly--but you get to walk along the rim and hear interesting stories about all the mining efforts inside the crater and the loonies who have fallen in and so on. Even a plane crashed inside this thing. Again, make sure you take the tour. We didn't have time to watch the free movie, although I wish I had done so. There is also a separate area of young kids. There are several free looking devices (you know, those stationary binocular type things) outside the main structure where you can look into the crater. Those are fun to use. Yes, this is expensive but this is also a roadside attraction that is worth the detour. Plan on spending about two hours here. They also have a little cafe with food and booze (including espresso martinis, for goodness sake), if you really want or need to get liquored up in the middle of nowhere, I guess.

It's exactly what it sounds like, a massive crater, and there are some interesting exhibits and information that make it a neat, educational stop (especially for kids). The staff was also very friendly, and the clerk at the front desk was especially welcoming, which we appreciated. That said, if I'm being completely honest, the price point was hard to justify. At $29 per person, it felt very steep for the overall experience. For what's offered, something in the $12-$15 range would feel much more reasonable. I'm glad we saw it, for us it was one of those "check it off the list" places, but not something I would personally return to or go out of my way to recommend at the current price.
