Hay doesn't have cheap products, but they have quality products. If you're in the market for a nice piece of Danish design thats more affordable than other brands, Hay would be my suggestion. I was happy to see that the prices here are actually quite reasonable. They have a great selection of kitchen, house, living, gardening and office items. I've bought some pots for plants (19kr each), Weck jars (20-29kr each - same price or lower than some grocery stores), and a few small kitchen items. There is a nice mixed of Danish brands and other brands. The store staff is nice and wrap up your breakable products in cardboard paper when you make a purchase. I've had to do a return at one point and they were equally pleasant.

The only thing i bought here are the postcards, you could probably get it somewhere else, but this place have more choice of the postcard by that artist:)
