Our experience with Stewart Raccuglia, his son Anthony Raccuglia, and both Legacy Custom Pools and…read moreLegacy Brick and Stone was nothing short of a nightmare. Please do yourself a favor and google "Stewart Raccuglia Georgia" and you will find everything you need. Throughout our experience with him; he would disappear for several weeks, we caught him in several lies, he was verbally abusive, and did extremely poor quality work. We had to get the police involved twice; and eventually had to get lawyers involved and a trespass affidavit. We incurred well over $20k in unforeseen and undisclosed costs with never signing a work change order which is required by the contract. The project was supposed to take 5 weeks and it took 7 months. Stewart didn't follow through with necessary inspections and permits as he said he would (and we paid him $1500 to do). He called me a narcissistic deadbeat who can't pay my bills and he insulted my husband's appearance (my husband suffers from MS). He gave our security code to a stranger without our authority. He unplugged our security cameras several times and didn't plug them back in when we asked him to. And at the end of it all, we have a brand new pool with leaks, drains that were improperly installed, and a liner that needs to be replaced (for $13k at our cost). Please avoid Stewart and his companies Legacy Brick and Stone and Legacy Custom Pools. This experience has been so stressful, upsetting, traumatizing, and expensive. When he sees this; I'm sure he will call me a liar and say this is slander. I will include pictures of everything I have stated, they are facts not lies. His lawyer has threatened me asking that I take this down but I am reposting because I do not respond to threats or intimidation and I want to save others from this horrific experience.

He comes back a week or two later (while snow is still on the ground) starting it was no big deal he could still do it. There were two sections still covered by snow he wasn't able to do. Eric said once the snow was melted he would come back. We paid him since he was mainly done. OUR MISTAKE. We followed up after the snow finally melted and he agreed to come back. After a week we texted, we called and we left messages. No Eric. Job not done. And us screwed for paying him even though he wasn't done. I'm sitting here thinking how I intend to call TLC for Autumn Clean up and leaf removal because…read morethey did such a great job for me last December. I am not always on top of my reviews! Anyway, I needed to have a tree removed that was nearly completely dead. The Trees on my property in East Quogue haven't been attended to for at least 30 years. I called TLC having seen their equipment at another location and scheduled for Paul to come and have a look. There were about 20 trees on the property at the time. Paul and I took a walk around the property and he discussed with me the things that he felt would be good to do. He was thorough and totally non pressure. It was clear that if I just wanted the one tree down that was fine, but as I thought about it I began to picture how much better my property would look with a high canopy of trees rather than the low canopy that I currently had which was not especially attractive and also had the effect of making my house rather dark. In addition it would benefit the health of my trees. I scheduled for TLC to remove three trees which were in very poor shape and to trim up all the remaining trees. The job was done on time as promised in 3 visits. The TLC crew knows what they are doing! They were careful to trim the trees in the proper fashion, in fact they were pretty incredible to see at work...have a look at the attached picture! I enthusiastically recommend TLC. Paul and his crew were great to deal with. The price was reasonable. Our tree canopy looks great now. They did a neat job on time as promised. TLC is a great resource for tree and related services.
