It was a long drive on curvy country roads to get there and it was rainy and extremely foggy, but it made it part of the "spooky" fun! We got here and we were greeted with friendly people and even a sucker for our son. It was only $20 for the 3 of us to get in which is very reasonable and a cheap night compared to any local events and activities we usually go to. The trail was pretty long and we were told to go through as many times as we wished. There were tons of little houses to walk through, a maze, a suspension bridge, a concrete tunnel, a crooked house, and many slides. We thoroughly enjoyed the trail, rain and all! It was well lit with Halloween lights all throughout, so it was pretty neat to walk the trails and see hidden spooky figures in the dark. The castle is so cool! It's a mini haunted house with strobe lights, animatronics, curtains to walk through, etc. Our 6 year old was scared by it a bit and got really brave to go in a second time (which made us SO relieved we didn't go to a legitimate haunted house) so it was perfect and not too scary. They've got hot cocoa, hot cider, cold cider, and donuts for sale (very cheap) too so we took advantage of that while we walked the trail. We can't wait to go here and see it all during Christmas time!

Those were just a few of the buildings this place reminds me of Enchanted Forest it's like a mini version without the thrill rides. The Trail is well maintained and the attractions are cute. We went through the haunted house before heading down the trail. The trail was a child's dream come true with slides and mazes galore. Pumpkins are $2,$4,$6 depending on size. They have snacks available for purchase at a reasonable price. If you have children under $12 you'll love this place not much for older kids, but definitely worth the $6 admission price.

What an amazing find! We spent the Eclipse time with them. They made that time extra special. They did not overbook, allowed the camper RVs a lot of space, had coffee and churros in the morning, dinners every night, so reasonable in prices and they didn't up their prices for the eclipse gouging going on. And I gotta give some love to V- Elvis (Brett Butler) who entertained us two nights. Stash winery was also there and Lee Courier sang hound dog with Elvis. Dustin has a lot of cool kitchen gadgets like a huge corn roaster. We ate a lot of roasted cord with butter and season salt. There's a churro maker and the Train Wreck with churros, whipped cream and caramel OMG. A large kettle for kettle corn every night and a shaved ice maker. Wow! Keri is the friendliest most imaginative event creator. Weddings, family reunions and any and all campers would be super happy coming to visit!

It's a family-run operation and the owners were really friendly & responsive. Prices were very reasonable, and unlike other campgrounds, you get more than just a spot to park your camper. The highlight was, of course, a small train that has a route through the woods. We rode on that thing a TON - our kids LOVED it. We also played tetherball, mini golf, watched movies in the evening, listened to live music, played in play houses for the kids, and had lots of concession food. There didn't seem to be a ton to do in the vicinity (near a small town), but the campground had lots happening so we hardly felt a need to even leave! We'll be back.

The park is free, train rides are free, the picnic area is free - so bring a lunch, ride a train or two and enjoy the outdoors while there's till some sun. There's a little snack bar area where drinks, ice cream bars, and other snacks can be purchased. 2025 is the 71st year the train park has operated. It's hard to believe that a place like this still exists! The park is run by volunteers and exists completely on donations. The onsite roundhouse (which wasn't open to the public) is where the trains are maintained and/or rehabilitated. The volunteers were helpful and friendly, helping us get on and off the trains with ease. The park is well-maintained and also offers designated times for private parties. Go have some fun!

There is a lodge on top of the hill that has restrooms, food/drinks, and two fire places. Overall a great way to spend a few hours enjoying the snow. We did multiple activities including the toboggan, Indy cars, and batting cages. The Indy cars we were most excited about but was extremely poorly run. They were down to a single iPad for entering in "account information" which would disconnect frequently and massively hold up the lines. Also with folks rotating helmets left and right you were subject to a sweaty helmet straight from the head of another patron to yours. Would have loved some level of sanitation or head cover in between. It felt disorganized and frantic getting people through. Then there was the batting cages which honestly were a sad excuse for what a cage should be. For one, as expressed in many other reviews there simply aren't enough bats. There's one single adult sized bat there split across say 6 different cages which as you can imagine creates quite the bottleneck when trying to participate. Also the majority of the helmets are either falling apart or way too big. Just gave the feeling of knowing it's a problem and not wanting to fix it. Expect a wait if you're looking to get more than a couple swings in, or a bent children's bat for that matter. Lastly was just the general things like empty hand sanitizers, no paper towels in the men's bathroom, things that aren't that major but just add up when you see it consistently across multiple areas. Especially for the price you pay for a pass, it just didn't seem accounted for. I enjoyed time friends but would by no means recommend or rush back to this summer activity as it is simply not worth the drive out from Portland.
