We agreed on a time for the estimate, some loose/falling sheetrock panels in my garage ceiling. The estimator was right on time and provided a fair estimate price and I agreed to it. I got a E-mail message about 30 min later with a starting time and I agreed to Saturday ( this was Thursday), the next morning (Friday) I got a call that they could come out today, I agreed and they showed up right on time. It was a bad patch before we will do it the right way. It looked great when they left, but within a month, the crack reappeared. The guy came back after having a difficult time of getting him scheduled to come back this time. I asked at this point I think a portion of the drywall needs to be replaced not patching it anymore. He disagreed and said no it just needs to be patched again. I defer to the experts. Within two months, the patch re-appeared during the winter time. I was told by someone not to get it patched until the weather got nicer. I called the company a month ago to say I'd like somebody to come back to replace the portion of the wall this time. The guy called me and set up a time to come at 5 o'clock at night, which is like what he did before. I thought it was strange how he kept putting me at the end of his day like I'm an inconvenience. But anyway, he was a no-show. When I called the company the next day to say that he was a no-show. They then informed me that they had no record of them doing the work and that they had offered a handyman to come and do the work since it was such a small job. The company's name is literally patch boys which I needed something patched not the entire house drywall so that's a little confusing to say that the job is too small. Anyway, I have a receipt from patch boys for $250 that I paid in October. I sent it back last week to remind them of. Yes I paid patch boys for this work and the work is still not complete and no one has responded. I get it the job too hard, but say that. The whole interaction was not good but I will say everyone was very polite as they blew me off and lied about me not paying Patch Boys.
