I explained that I was retired & lived alone & didn't have much of anything to claim. Made an appointment with Cathy the following week & when I arrived a gentleman approach me & said he would be doing my taxes. I was disappointed that she didn't know me but she felt it was okay to pass me along to someone else! Come to find out he has only been there 2 wks. & he seemed a little uncomfortable . I'm thinking it's a simple return! We were done very quickly. He told me almost everything I ask about wasn't a deduction. I left feeling uneasy about my taxes. I called back 10 days later to find out if my taxes were done since no one contacted me & the receptionist said yes & I needed to come in & sign. When I asked how much she said $215! Needless to say I was shocked because it cost me less in California & there I had more to claim. My return was only $225 & I have to give it to them!!
