I gave them them her cell number when I placed the order so they could call her. She would have told them she was on a short errand and they could leave the flowers on her doorstep. But they didn't call; they took the flowers back to the shop. So she didn't get the flowers on her birthday. We told them about this when we picked the flowers up today. They didn't apologize, they just said "sometimes our drivers call and sometimes they don't". Mistakes happen, but I don't remember the last time I've seen a store that openly admits they're indifferent to delivering on time. Needles to say, I'll buy flowers somewhere else next time.
