At the last minute on a Saturday I learned a fellow college colleague was a barber here and and reached out to see if he could hook my nephews up! He responded asking if I could bring them NOW...& we arrived 15 minutes later. My nephews were happy with their cuts so I guess all is well. I really appreciated the barber making time to take care of my nephews. The shop vibes were cool- everyone was friendly and busy. And their work was good! We could've probably had any barber cut their hair but I was supporting the one I knew. Would definitely bring my nephews back here. read more

I always come here to get a fresh cut. Come see Tyson- the first barber on the right when you walk in. If he is booked, anyone will for sure take care of you. The vibe is chill and the bathroom is clean (always a plus.) For a standard cut it's $40 and for a skin fade it's a bit more. Try to book online because it gets busy, especially on weekends. Cash is always preferred, but some barbers have Venmo or Cashapp as cashless options. Tell him DJ Sprinkles sent you! read more

0 Stars for my horrible interaction with a barber. My simple, straightforward questions were met with such defensiveness and absolute arrogance. Would not spend a penny there walked out and had an excellent experience at Kev's not too far from this place. read more

Be prepared to spend an hour waiting and two hours for a horrible haircut. Pretty sure they rent out chairs to anyone, with no professional experience required. read more

Terrible experience with this barber. First, he said he couldn't accommodate me and rescheduled. When I showed up for the rescheduled appointment, he said he forgot about me and asked me to reschedule again. Then, he forgot the second time too. Completely unprofessional I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

So far so good , the place is clean , hip and friendly staff , not too far from Springfield mall , we came after our cousin recommended it . Ziggy was very professional and friendly , the boys loved the hair style they got . We will come back read more

Unprofessional business. They'll have you waiting for hours beyond your scheduled time. Not worth the time. Take your business elsewhere. I suggest The Standard Barbershop in Fairfax. Won't be coming back again. read more

messed up my appointment rescheduled 3 times and still couldn't get the cut .because he forgot the appointment

Horrible barbers. Everybody is unprofessional. Nobody has any sense of customer service. Waiting time is about 2 hours. Even people with appointment have to wait for more than an hour. If you walk in, just go home because you will spend half a day here. Soon as you walk in, people treat as a ghost. No words or acknowledgement. They don't even ask if you have an appointment or walking in. They just leave you there until they notice you've been waiting for 3 hours. Horrible place. Horrible experience. I wasted half of my day. Save your time and don't go here. read more

Went in with my kid (had an appointment with Ed) at this new location. Walked in and didnt get greeted or anything. Waiting for 5 minutes before I look at someone and said my son have an appointment with Ed. (Which was the guy I talked too). He look at my kid an said ok he will be done with his current client in a few minutes. 15 minutes went by and I notice when others come in, he greets them and asked them if they have an appointment. If they didnt, they sign the clip board. Never once greeted me when my son and I went in. The original shop is better. 30 minutes later, still waiting and Ed hasn't said anything about taking so long. The "few minutes" became 45 and my son and I left. The original crew and shop is a bit better, but end result I found another barber shop way better. Inspired Art. read more

Took my brothers here as a treat! They both got cuts, facials, and beard trims from Ziggy. Honestly one of the best experiences! Ziggy took his time and was very detailed with his work. He was patient and listened to what they wanted. The boys were extremely happy and super satisfied with his work! Thank you again Ziggy for the amazing job, see you next time! read more

Best barbershop I've been too in 4 years that I have lived in the DMV . If you are someone who cares about what you look like this is the place for you. I get a cut with Los which is $35 but he leaves me feeling like I should have paid $100! He is on point every time read more

Great service, great atmosphere, and overall just so relaxing to be in. For the "wise" cut you get, it's fair and worth the spend! I've struggled to choose the right barber for some time but I have a peace of mind with these guys. I recommended you all to make an appointment with Edgar as my recommendation. He is observant, patient, keen-eyed, handles with precision and does not rush anything. He makes sure to give you his 110% so that you leave a happy customer. You will be able to recognize the work, passion, and talent that he does for you. Overall, a happy customer. Keep it up guys and continue to make wise cuts! read more

Had an appointment with "Master Barber" Lex and he never showed up. From the other reviews that are posted this is certainly the culture of the shop. Very disappointing. read more

I walked in, told them I had an appointment at 10:55 for any senior barber. I was Immediately told that my booking "didn't say that" I had no specific barber. Which it definitely did. I pulled up the booking confirmation, and read it aloud, and no one said a thing other than "we'll take a look at it". They never did. I never leave reviews, even for negative experiences but to call a potential customer a liar as soon as they step into the building and then ignore them when they prove that they weren't lying is just ridiculous. Work on your customer service, no matter how good of a barber you are, at least try to seem like you're not a rude person. read more

Staff was super helpful and kind, was great vibes all around! My husband loved his haircut and we will be returning! 10/10 recommend

Came in by reference to see ac jam but he wasn't in. I was told after I got there that a reservation is preferred, so the hour and a half was expected. I showed a picture of what I wanted and I would've rather been turned away if they weren't sure they could do it. I just hope it grows back out fast. read more

ZERO STARS!! McBlendy needs to work on time management. I understand perfection takes time but then schedule to account for that. If I make an appointment for 4pm I shouldn't still be waiting at 5pm. I shouldn't show up 5-10 minutes early for my appointment and there be not one but TWO people still waiting ahead of me. And no, this isn't the first time this has happened. A few months back the same thing happened and we actually waited and got the haircut done and no apology for running behind. read more

Eh.. I think the barbers here are probably talented for their age, and chances are, you could probably get a nice cut here, but I think a number of the barbers are quite inexperienced. Highlights on Instagram prove they CAN cut well but probably not consistently, just yet. I got cut here for the first time and the quality was okay but more so the quality you'd expect from a neighborhood friend who cuts hair on the side.. my shape up wasn't clean, the part/design wasn't clean, the hairline enhancement/fibers was uneven.. i can still see the guideline in my fade.. Alot of the technique/lack thereof I experienced during my cut proves that you might get a nice cut on good days, or like in my case, you might really not. I proobably wouldn't go here again, unless I was desperate for a cut. read more

No-show for a 1:30pm appointment (with Ant) using the "Any available barber" option. Other barbers said he should be in, but waited 20min with no luck. Maybe this one guy isn't representative of the other barbers, but the impression is that the place is pretty unprofessional, or at least disorganized. If you can't make it or are running late (life happens), that's cool, just communicate it. Or if you know you're truly unavailable, then it should be reflected on the booking site. Willing to give it one more shot because the one other time I came and got a cut (from Magali), it was great. Disappointing experience today though. read more

Typical "cool guy" spot. Be prepared to wait. Made an appointment and still waited a half hour. Customer service is terrible. Was not greeted or acknowledged. Shop presentation is trash. Barbers don't clean up after they are done with each client. Place is filthy. Barbers do know how to fade, but they solemnly rely on that to continue their business. Unless you're a friend of the barbers they could care less of you as a customer. read more

I've been going to this place since 2018 and have never been disappointed with my haircuts. Ed has been my main barber since I started coming here and I'm always more than satisfied with his cuts. He pays major attention to detail and his work shows it. His Instagram is @EddyFades so check out his portfolio to see what I'm talking about. You won't be disappointed. read more

Original barber completely ignored appointment, replacement barber took forever to cut hair. Constantly checking phone and doing other things. Original burke location much better. VERY unprofessional, would not recommend. read more

This spot is a mess when it comes to customer service. You aren't acknowledged by any of the barbers and unless you make it a point to talk to them or make eye contact you will go on unnoticed. Your time is not respected either. You are not given any type of approximation and the barbers will disappear for whatever reason instead of checking in with clients and letting them know what is going on. They would rather talk to each other in hopes that people would overhear and take the hint. Pretty tough when they are playing the music loud enough to make you feel like you are at the club. More of a spot for existing clientele and friends of barbers working there. If you are walk in forget about it and find a better spot that will give you the courtesy you deserve. Be wary as well because they will stick you with an amateur if the other barbers are "too busy." read more

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible! My fiancé had an appointment at 12:45... we showed up a little earlier. The owner said once the barber was finished with his client in the chair he would take my fiancé. About an hour later he FINALLY finished. However, the barber up and left. We waited around for about another 30 minutes until we finally just left. When the owner was there everything was fine, he kept providing updates. Once he left, it turned into a shit show. Appointment times do not matter. read more

Honestly, out of all the barbershops I've been looking around for an I finally found out about Wise Cuts because I ran into Aaron Thompson aka Fade_Genie .. The most unprofessional barbershop I've ever walked into. I set up an appointment with one of their barber (goes by Ziggy), who in my opinion is amateur at what he does. Worse barber ever. Very unprofessional and doesn't respect anyone's time. I wouldn't waste my time there. read more

If you like barbers that would rather cut there own hair while you wait then this is the best barbershop for you.

Came in at 11:30am and was told that they were only taking appointments. Made an appointment with first barber on the right and was told that 4:30 pm was blocked out for me. Fast forward to 4:30 pm and barber tells me to come back in an hour. To make matters worse, he pawns me off on another who rushes through my cut to make up for back log. On top of that, was charged 10.00 for mustache trim when beard trims are 10.00. Prima donna barbers with rock star attitudes. Avoid at all cost unless your under thirty and have nothing better to do with your time. read more
