Review is cross-posted on iCare Urgent Care, since it's essentially the same business. Be careful about coming to Wise Health. This organization exists to profit off of your medical care. My spouse scheduled an appointment with iCare Urgent Care and we went to her appointment on time during normal urgent care hours. She was switched to Wise Health Emergency ER (same building, same staff as iCare), despite having the same symptoms that her primary care treated her for about a month earlier.
She received less treatment than from her primary care, was neglected by her physician (so much for an "emergency" room), and was told they had no idea what was wrong with her. Her doctor was Emil Soleyman-Zomalan.
After treatment, she was given the estimate of $1200, which she was told several times not to pay that day, but rather that she should wait for a bill. Around 6 weeks later, we received 2 bills totaling over $4,000, which was the price AFTER insurance. Upon calling billing, I was told that had we paid within 45 days, they would have honored their estimate. However, we never received a statement, a bill, or any other contact that would have allowed us to make that payment prior to receiving the 2 bills totaling $4,000.
To add insult to injury, they were doing a food and supply drive for teachers in their waiting room. My family lives off of my high school teacher salary, and my monthly salary is less than this surprise bill.
If you have a real emergency, realize that your treatment will be worse here than most medical offices. There is a great hospital in South Denton just a few minutes up I-35. read more
