I gave a good rating and that's for pizza, they do have good pizza. We decided to try the buffet that runs through the week, Mon-Fri, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Even though they had just opened the pizza wasn't that hot, it was warm, sort of. Still it's good pizza. The warmer pots for the soups aren't that hot yet so temps of the soup was more or less cold.
The salad bar is sort of small, but it works. The problem is the lack of salad dressings (only 4) to choose from, they're prepackaged and none of them were anything we much care for. No, Western, French, Catalina, Russian or anything like that. Just Bleu Cheese, Ranch, Caesar and Italian. We tried to work with the Caesar, but it didn't make for a good salad for either of us. None of the others would we want.
Sort of bugged by no fresh pizza being put out all the time were there and they were getting busier so anything still up there was basically cold, or what that was left. Also, no sign of their deep dish pizza on the buffet. At least not during the time we were there, about 45 minutes. That's too bad because I know that pizza is good. I've had it before.
All in all, 2 buffets, a soda each plus tax and with a decent tip $50 bucks. Was it worth that? No, not to us. That being said we would return just to order a pizza and drinks, it's good pizza. And what's left of your pizza you can take home. That seems like a much better deal to us.
The wait service is very good. In our opinion, we just wouldn't return for the buffet. Everything else is good. read more
