I made sure to read the fine print before purchasing and it confirmed this deal could be repurchased every 90 days. It was a deal for 2 rooms and stairs. I paid $75 for the Groupon. When I called and emailed for an appointment they responded that since I was a past customer I couldn't use a Groupon again and instead asked me to pay $100 for the same offer since I was a past customers. Again I used this company over a year ago! When I sent them a copy of the Groupon fine print which showed that we are allowed to repurchase every 90 days they still refused to honor the policy. I am in the process of getting a refund but wanted consumers to be aware of this company. We work hard for our money and have buying power and don't want anyone else to fall for their false advertising. I will be going with another company who honors their word vs. bait and switch

Touching the carpet, your skin is covered in it and it smells bad. Worse, you leave footprints when moving off the carpet and onto laminate. I paid over $300 dollars to have this done to my carpet. I'm fairly certain the "special protectant" that you pay extra for is the culprit, but I am not certain. It could be the other stuff that they use when they are scrubbing. I only know that the carpet in the house that I bought did not have this problem for the first several months after I moved in. I had the carpet cleaned because the previous owner had dogs who tracked in mud. After vacuuming today, the nasty smell of the chemicals is present. I am using rug runners to cover the carpeted areas until I can get the underlying carpet replaced. I've lived with this for several months because I cannot afford to replace the carpet and was hoping that with enough vacuuming, the special protectant would go away. Worse, the protectant got into the seam between my laminate and carpet, causing it to swell and explode after rotting. The oily residue will settle out after awhile, but when you vacuum, the roller brush will bring it back to the surface again and the oily footprints will begin appearing all over the house. I'm considering replacing my carpet if I am not able to remove the unpleasant residue using a carpet cleaning rental with water only. The company bills itself as pet safe, but I have pets who like to lay on the carpet and I'm not at all confident that the oily residue that gets on them is healthy.

We agreed on a price, but when I specifically asked about removing a stain, he suddenly claimed it required a "deep cleaning" and tried to charge an additional $30. At no point prior to arriving did he mention any distinction between "basic cleaning" and "deep cleaning." Even his own website promotes "deep cleaning," which makes this feel misleading at best. His company also advertises water damage restoration services, so the refusal to address a basic stain--even for an additional fee was truly unexpected. Still I was willing to pay extra just to have that one stain addressed, but he refused and insisted his service only covered basic cleaning. What was most concerning was his behavior right afterward, he quickly became agitated and went as far as threatening to report code enforcement upon realizing the property is a rental. He then immediately contacted code enforcement while still at our property. Fortunately, everything on our end is fully licensed, but this felt like an unnecessary, unprofessional, and inappropriate escalation. Overall, the experience was misleading, unprofessional, and uncomfortable. I would strongly recommend clarifying all details upfront before working with him.

Josh came by and gave us a competitive quote for the flooring, taking time to answer any questions. We had other quotes, some cheaper, but none of them matched the customer service of Cleveland Carpets. We waited 8 weeks for the install because we wanted to have Jim do ours floors, and he was booked out. We used Jim before to install floors upstairs, so we knew his work was top notch. Jim is a one man crew, who moved every piece of furniture himself, and put everything back in the exact same place. A few weeks later we had a door installed downstairs, and the contractor had to take up some of the carpet, which left a puffy area by the newly installed door. We called Cleveland, and Josh sent out a tech to reinstalled that area correctly. We asked how much and they said it's no charge. Who does that nowadays. If you need flooring done and want it done perfectly, call this company, you won't be disappointed. Thanks to Cleveland Carpets and their entire staff.
