I had 4 years of high traffic on my carpet and Klean as Whistle came right in and immediately started treating my carpet. They did a wonderful job and I would highly recommend this company. The initial cleaning interaction was fine, and our carpets were clean after they came. They came, however, 2 hours later than the time they scheduled. They also cleaned an area rug after my wife asked their advice on whether we should since it is quite thick - they said it would be fine. The rug did not fully dry and began to smell of mildew. When my wife called them back to have them help with drying or get assistance, they accused her of not having it dried properly, though they gave NO instruction. My wife had it drying first in the bathroom with the fans on, and then outside after the rain ceased. They were supposed to come at 12, changed to 3, and when we told them we would be gone, refused to give any clear indication of when they could help. HORRIBLE phone scheduling woman, who hung up on my wife. read more

I bought the Living Social for this for $59 for 3 rooms. I scheduled it for 8am on Saturday. The guy called me at 7:30 and said he was a little early and would wait till 8 before he came up, but I told him to go ahead and come up. The guy looked at my carpet and since there were a few stains, he recommended getting the stain treatment which was an extra $35. The whole thing took about 45 mins and the carpets look BRAND new. I wasn't expecting to have to pay the extra for the stains (thats why I was getting the carpets cleaned). The extra costs I had to pay needed to be in cash or else I would have to pay credit card processing fee. It was definitely worth it and Ill call them again next time. read more

I purchased a Groupon for a 3 room cleaning. When I called to schedule an appointment, I got an answering machine with a unprofessional sounding message. I left a message anyway, and no one called me back. I finally called back myself and got an answer. I told the female who answered (again in a very unprofessional manner) that I wanted to schedule a cleaning and she just said "yeah, how'd you hear 'bout us. When I said "Groupon" she said "we ain't doin no Groupon's till March, we all filled up". She did say that if I wanted to pay full price then they magically had an opening in their schedule, but if I wanted to use a Groupon they were booked. Little did she know I had planned on upgrading my services when they arrived to include the rest of my house and a deodorizing and stain treatment - so their loss. I canceled my Groupon and got a refund. I've purchased Groupons from ProCarpet and never had this sort of problem or unprofessional phone conversation. (She answered the phone from her van and I could barely hear her with all the background noise). Lesson learned!! I will only use ProCarpet from now on, they are super professional, they have great customer service and they don't discriminate if you are using a Groupon or Living Social coupon. The coupon I had purchased for Kleen as a Whistle was $29 for 3 rooms and their regular price is $49 for 3 rooms and a hall. So basically they just lost a potential repeat client for a $20 difference. Not too bright!!! read more

This company provided superb services. My carpet is a light color and had many stains from high traffic, food and pet accidents. When they were done, my carpet looked brand new. They were professional, on time and inexpensive. I've used Stanley's Carpet Cleaners in the past and they didn't clean as well. However, their prices were significantly higher. Paying more doesn't always mean better services. I will definitely use this company again. My only recommendation is that they use shoe covers when working. It rained while they were cleaning my carpet and didn't have on any shoe protectors to keep my carpet and hardwood floors from getting wet. Other than that, they were outstanding. read more

Not recommended. I had to schedule an appointment three weeks in advance because they were "busy." On the night before the appointment, they called at 7 p.m. to change the appointment from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Then they called back the day of the appointment at 9:30 a.m. to change it back. When I told them I would not be home at 1 p.m., they agreed to be there at 3 p.m.; however, they then showed up two hours early and refused to wait. read more
