Although this studio has awesome reviews, if you have allergies to mold, fragrances, and incense, I would stay clear. I tried both upstairs and down. Left early for both classes with an asthma flare. Granted, I am ultra-sensitive to mold (the older the building, the worse it is... inevitable downside to island living), smoke, and fragrances, but I still can't understand why anyone would burn incense while people are trying to breathe deeply :( read more

When a student is ready, the right teacher will appear. Jen is out of this world passionate, meticulous & dedicated yoga guru. Illuminated by instruction of all eight limbs, I am always rested & energized during & after classes. Appears to be appropriate for all levels. The quality of energy and inspiration is remarkable rare magic. Give your inner being love and come spend quality time with self-you'll show up so much better for everyone around you. Jenna is also amazing in her own beautiful way--creative, fluid & perceptive. And the Mana dance on Tues/Thurs @ 6pm is equally wonderful. Karyne's generous & spirited guidance are divine for immersion into Polynesian dance. My feminine divine is very cozy here. Mahalo to the excellent team & offerings. read more

Wisdom Flow Yoga - Yoga Near Me - Makawao, Hawaii

A beautiful, serene, and welcoming space with warm and kind people on the inside. I attended Jenn's Friday morning 8:30 am class with my dear friend Melanie. I am visiting from the mainland and felt so immediately welcome entering this "new to me" space. The class was incredible! I was moving my body in ways I hadn't in years, and the flow of the class was smooth, intentional, and Jenn's words were speaking to my soul the whole time. I highly recommend making the time to take a course here. Your body will thank you. Thank you Jenn! read more

Paid a deposit for a retreat, received zero communications and then they cancelled weeks before leaving me with expensive airline tickets and not enough time to rebook somewhere else. I did get Blessings but no apology. read more

Jennifer Lynn is the best yoga teacher on Maui - and best yoga teacher in all my travels. She has a deep and nuanced understanding of the body and in every class you can feel your body healing. She can spot subtle (and not so subtle) adjustments that may need to make that will take your practice to the next level. Jennifer's teaching style is powerful, and she weaves powerful life lessons in from the philosophy of yoga. You leave feeling inspired in a way that carries into the day. read more

I bought a package while I was on holiday for two weeks. It was a great deal and perfect for me to unwind out here from the stresses of the East Coast. It's a great Studio and Jennifer is an incredible instructor. Very knowledgeable, very patient, very welcoming to her classes. I took Jennifer's vinyasa flow and learned more in six classes than I have in 6 months of the yoga I've been taking back home. Thank you Jennifer for helping to make my vacation a perfect one! I will definitely be back next time I am on the island! read more

Formerly an "un-fan of Yoga", I gave Wisdom Flow a try. My Path is that much more lovely because of my love of yoga. You are your own best teacher. Why not have the best people, teaching you to be your own best teacher! I cannot recommend it more. Generally I shy away from reviews but why would I deprive your heart's research?! I've had 2 "yoga hater" friends leave the studio (different days) saying the same thing. "Wow, you were right!" read more

Bought the intro package. Went to two classes, took a trip to the mainland and then had two unexpected major surgeries. Sent an inquiry about whether the package was still valid and no response. Even if it had been "no" I probably would have gone and paid. Restorative class would probably be very helpful in my continuing recovery. But, not willing to give more money to someone who isn't responsive. read more

Jen is by far the best teacher I have come across in over 20 years of practicing yoga. Her classes are filled with inspiring words and clear instructions in and out of each asana. She has built a wonderful community and is surrounded by kind caring students and teachers. I am grateful I found this yoga sanctuary. Thank you for doing what you do read more

Best Yoga Teacher in Maui! I love Jennifer's class on Mon, Wed, Fri & Sats. She is jus awesome. Since I went for the first time last year with no yoga experience i was able to get hooked into Yoga. Jennifer's class is not only refreshing for the body & soul but she is also like a book teaching you in class about many topics regarding life, energy and the human body, she is an exceptional speaker and motivator. I highly recommend Jennifer's teachings to anyone with lots of yoga experience or beginners. read more

Jennifer Lynn offers amazing yoga classes. Like most people, I have some physical challenges--tight hamstrings and low range of motion in both wrists (past sprains) made Downward-facing Dog a real female dog for me! Jennifer gives excellent adjustments and advice, allowing me to make peace with such stretches. She also teaches how to apply the physical lessons to life. For example, today she talked about balancing clarity and intensity (knowing what you want--in a pose and in life) with trust and ease/enjoyment (relaxing into a pose, allowing co-creation--we're not responsible for keeping the planet spinning and our hearts pumping; we're supported). Timely adjustments on both levels... read more

Jennifer was definitely not my favorite yoga instructor. I was a first time drop in and did not feel welcomed by her. To the contrary I am an older student and the class was too advanced for me. Was not given any kind of instruction on what to expect or to the props. Felt like an outsider not in the click. Honey the dog was the best thing about this place. read more

Thank you Jennifer for class when we visited Maui. It was a great community that was welcoming to my wife and me. It was a time for new beginnings for us - starting our vacation, approaching the new year, and celebrating our anniversary. As Jennifer shared with us, one should think about the patterns we create. Connecting breathe with movement and creating strength, flexibility and balance are only a part of yoga. Jennifer reminds me how important this is to a practice. Hope we can join you again in Maui or some place else. read more

Jennifer Lynn is hands down the best yoga instructor I've had. I took a class from her in 2013 when I visited a yoga retreat in Maui. She's authentic, inspiring, and an amazing instructor. I try to take her class whenever I visit Maui- she's worth the journey from San Francisco! read more

Before finding Jennifer Lynn and Wisdom Flow Yoga I had tried out many styles of yoga ranging from Ashtanga, to Bikram, to Iyengar and beyond.. While I believe all styles of yoga are beneficial, there is something very unique and special about Wisdom Flow Yoga. I have been attending Jennifer Lynn's yoga classes for quite some time now, and just completed her 200 hr teacher training. I consider her to be a yoga scientist, carefully working with medical professionals and other yoga teachers from many backgrounds to create a style of yoga that is inspiring, fun, and safe / sustainable for all people due to her focus on sacred geometry and optimal alignment. I highly recommend wisdom flow yoga for anyone at any level looking to try out a class, attend a retreat, or even complete a teacher training! read more
