We got super excited to switch over to TMobile because of what was said about the service and how…read moretowers were being updated. Well that was so very wrong. We paid off our phones through spectrum and were told we would get up to 800 per phone paid off and sent an email when that came through before a billing cycle. Well we never got that so finally at 8 weeks I called and I had to go to a completely different site to get that card access which is only online and can't be used to pay off the phones that was put on my credit card like they said they could do. They check your credit and still make you pay for phones. What their website says for free phones is also very FALSE! I tried to upgrade all of our phones after waiting to build credit with tmobile to get a cheaper down payment. Didn't happen what so ever. The iPhone 17s online say free on their website til you get to check out and they wanted me to pay 300 and some per phone. Such a JOKE! Unless you have a bunch of money to get started with this company and want to pay upfront for every dang phone. I wouldn't EVER suggest moving over from your current provider! Customer service and their managers is ALSO a huge joke! If I didn't need to get out of spectrum internet I'd switch back to any other company BUT this one!

Months later I finally checked my bill and found the tablet actually has its own monthly line charge, plus a mystery extra line I didn't know I had. I called support and they offered to let me move an old phone onto that unused line instead. When I went into the store to do it, the manager said moving a phone from a prepaid carrier would cancel the "free" line and trigger charges -- again, not something we were told upfront. When I brought up the tablet issue, he said it was my fault for not catching it sooner and disputed what the clerk had actually promised. Left feeling like the sale was built on vague promises, and any resulting confusion becomes "your responsibility" once time passes. If you shop here, get every promise in writing and check your bill right away.
