So small I m not sure they could be called slices of bread. But it was sort of lucky as the following 2 dishes was still to come. For main I had fish with vegetables in a curry stew. My friend had lasagne with some lettuce. The fish was beautifully cooked. The lasagne was a bit dry but very rustic. Dessert was a creamy custard with a raspberry compote. It was nice but nothing special. Not what you expect as an end to a 3 course meal. Service was a surprise. The waitress was very friendly but she did grab my plates before I had finish my last mouthful or while I still had some cutlery in my hands. I might come back for lunch again but it was nt impressive enough to try the evening menu.

So finally last week, we decided to give it a try. The sitting arrangement outside is simple but nice. The restaurant is residential area, but still the location the restaurant is not bad. We went there on weekdays and it was half empty. We ordered Spinat Suppe (spinach soup) , which was OK. But we didn't expected a lot from it. I was more curious about the typical German food they offer. So I ordered Schweinebraten in Dunkelbiersauce (Roasted Pork with beer sauce), which was delicious. Pork was perfectly cooked. The other dish that we ordered was Hähnchengeschnetzeltes mit Champignons ( chicken escalope with mushrooms), which was also nicely cooked and delicious. There was salad as side dish & complementary Kartoffelpuffer (potato pancake) with chicken dish. The service was excellent. Overall nice food with normal price range. If you are in Nordbahnhof area & want to try local delicacies then I will surely recommend this place.
