A few days later a motorhome with teenagers parked across the street from us and down the street is another young couple with a small child and a baby. Definitely not a 45+ RV park. People park on the sidewalks you can't see to back out which is a safety issue especially with the small children. we have had one of the kids and a dog come to our camper without supervision. There are aggressive dogs. We are parked by the road and it is very busy all hours of the day and night. We either have to wear earplugs are run our air conditioner at night to drown out the road noise. The owner was made aware of the issues and has chose to ignore it all. I definitely won't go back and would not recommend it. There are other things as well these were the main ones.

The room is not meant to sit in during a rainy day or at night while relaxing. I wouldn't recommend this unit before looking at it. The overall cleanliness was good and smelled fresh when we arrived. The kitchen was adequate with stove, microwave, full-sized fridge and dishwasher. The grounds were well manicured and each day except weekends someone wiped down furniture and blew off leaves & debris. Pool water was clear, however our son who has a pool business pointed out black algae all over the sides and bottom. The tiles on side also need a good cleaning. Gas grill was in tough shape and only one burner worked. Access to beach was very good and the beach was clean. Overall the room is a 2-3 and the facility is a 4.

This alone is worth staying at Sea Shell. Make a right to go across the bridge, when coming back stay in the left hand lane and avoid the traffic.

Very well thought out…read more What I camped here for one night with friends. Environment The campsite was fairly large, we were able to fit 2 cars in comfortably. There is a table and plenty of space to set-up tents. There is an outlet and water access. There are lots facing water, but some places can be spotty as there are mangroves. There are also various spots where you can launch kayak/paddleboards which makes it convenient. The bathroom and shower area was very clean and big. The showers I thought was a little inconvenient. (Maybe I am not to this). There are no hooks to hang my towel.. or even clothes.. There is also a dayroom nearby where you can rest if it is too hot in the campsites. In terms of accessibility - everything was easily accessible. I like that there is a bike path that you can ride from the campsite to the North beach. Niceness of all I haven't had a bad encounter, everyone was nice.

They give you pool towels and had a fun itinerary to meet and great my girlfriend and I had a very fun stay. We stayed here during the closing of my home and it was season but they had an easy checkin and checkout. I would recommend.

After we got there we noticed there were only 3 pillows (one missing a pillow case) called for an extra. 6 hours later the pillow never came. We then went to pull out the pull out bed and there was what we could only describe as someone's human fluid on the sheets that were on the mattress. We called again and were told that it was to late (10pm) at that time for them to do anything about it. So not only did one of our guests not have a pillow, they had to sleep on soiled sheets as well. There is also a light right outside the door you are unable to turn off that shines into the window all night. I have tried to contact a local person to get this matter handled for OVER A WEEK and nothing has been done. Again, do not stay at this resort.

It's located in a great place that gives you access to the North toward Tampa and the south toward Sarasota. It's quiet. The bad? 75% of the people who are there, stay there permanently. They pluck your camper in between permanent folks. It's very difficult to maneuver a large camper into the spaces due to parked cars, and fixtures on people's front lawns etc. Lights are essentially out at 9pm....it's quiet. We felt like intruders. It's a 55 and up park, but most of the folks are much older. In my opinion, this is NOT a place for campers. There are no fires. It's most like a place to plop your trailer and stay - not actually enjoy a true camping experience. Please don't get me wrong, the management and people there did everything possible to accomodate us. I just felt like this was NOT the place for us.
