This honestly wasn't worth the money. We paid $80 for a family of 4 (not including food). It was very crowded and hard to see anything. If you're a fan of the movie then maybe you'll enjoy this more. The hurricane experience was fun but it scared all the children in our group including the 9, 10, and 14 year old.

If your children loved the movie - they will have fun here, just don't set your expectations too high. - Admission is included as part of the Clearwater Aquarium entrance fee - otherwise I would say this exhibit is not worth the money. - Don't make the mistake of taking the trolley from the Aquarium. You'll find the wait time for a trolley returning to the Aquarium (and your car) is often more than an hour. - Staff always seem inexperienced and lack even basic knowledge about the exhibit they are working. - Movie recaps roll continuously. - Good for a rainy day.

Not very much to experience other than the amazing boat shuttle ride. Plenty of sea animals

There is a great play area for younger kids!

Interesting exhibits and clips of the making of the movie and interviews of the actors. Lots to read and neat hurricane simulator.

My younger sister and I were so excited about it we didn't give it a second thought and brought it right up to the counter. The woman at the counter gave us the points and said she'd text her manager about the note inside. We played for another 30 minutes or so and went back to the counter. She told us our point total and I asked if her manager had texted her back. She said they did, then "ha ha very funny" which caught me off guard. I realize now that it was a prank by whoever had the chest before, but I responded apologetically even though the attitude confused me. She told us something along the lines of "yeah well it's not real" like we were annoying her. She walked away while we were trying to just move on and choose our prizes. Another woman came to help us. The entire interaction left me feeling humiliated and incredibly insulted. I asked a question. I didn't deserve that. Disgusting experience.

The atmosphere was amazing, the employees were so helpful, the rides were top notch, the food was delicious, and the animals looked so happy and healthy! The park was clean and looked like they were preparing for their Halloween celebration: the decorations were out of this world and really made me want to come back for Halloween. I loved the layout of the park as well. The employees all greeted me with kindness and I loved the professionalism of the staff when we were getting on the rides. Amazing people. The rides were some of the best roller coasters and thrill rides I've ever experienced. I cannot speak on the rides geared towards the younger crowd. The food was great and the restaurants being air-conditioned was a nice treat! I also had a churro to end the day which was perfect. The animals all looked like they were in a great and healthy environment. We went to the bird sanctuary and spent an hour taking in how many species there were. We later saw the kangaroos who also looked happy and well fed. We will absolutely be returning

Well it turns out it's much more economical to be a member so we splurged on the 4-person membership for around $240. The staff is all super nice. It was a weekday so rather than paying $14 for parking (members only pay $7 with validation) we found free street parking. My 4 year old loved the touching tank upon entry and we learned about how lobsters shed their shells. It's a mixture of old and new structures so it can get confusing to navigate but we figured it out for the most part. Another favorite was the stingray area as well because you can get wet. I personally couldn't locate the otters but I will make it my mission next time. Lots of scheduled presentations! I think we will find plenty of reasons to come back. I noticed they also have a food court. Would love to see some sort of splash pad addition like at the one in Tampa. There is a cute waterfront playground just a stone's throw away!

Florida is and has always been dedicated to the preservation and rescue and Rehabilitation of the marine species and environment. The drive out here is something. We'd done our homework and knew the slides would be closed, so that wasn't a disappointment. We even called ahead to confirm the mermaid show was happening. The recording directed us to the app, which listed the show. Great! What it didn't mention was that it would be a training show, with spoken instructions and coaching for the mermaids throughout the performance. We only learned that when we arrived for the show. I gave it a chance but ended up leaving. The boat ride was also closed "due to low water" also not noted on the app. The park was clean, and the water felt amazing, but the mermaid show was something I'd looked forward to due to the longevity/history of it. Everyone needs time to learn, and I certainly don't fault the mermaids for that. A simple "training show" note in the app would have helped us know what to expect. We did our research; we just wish the information had been complete. Sounds like miscommunication and lack of transparent information had earned them a lot of low reviews.

They wrist band you and then guide you to the next window where they will harness you. Following the harness you go through an intro training and then a practice course before being allowed on the main platform. The great thing about this is that they show you how to stay connected and safe. We started at yellow and made our way up to green level course. Next time we will attempt the blue and the black. The way it works is that once you are done with the training course they mark your badge with the final time that you will be able to go to the main platform and start a course. We were climbing for about 2 hours before we decided to call it! It's a great physical and mental stimulation. You can tell that they care about the course because everything was maintained. Additionally, the staff were soooo nice! Great team! There is also a gift shop with ice-cream and some small finger food if you need a bite while out there. I recommend bringing your own water because they cost 8 dollars! We will be back!!
