My stepfather received a letter from these people regarding elimination of fees associated with his timeshare. He has never owned a timeshare. This is obviously a scam and they are preying on elderly and vulnerable people. As another reviewer suggested, I filed a complaint with the OAG's Consumer Protection Division. I will say that these people are definitely persistent, to the last degree. They have been calling for at least 4 months and I don't answer unknown numbers. I received a letter, without an official printed letterhead, addressed from 3300 South National, Springfield, MO 65807. Their letter contained a note that "I must respond no later than September 14, 2017." I don't like deadlines for something is that unclear, so I finally went online to check them out. I live in B.C. Canada, so obviously their reach is quite expansive. But I am most concerned about where they got my telephone number and address from?? My letter for the timeshare I do not own (and never have) was from 3436 Alemeda Street, Suite 234, Fort Worth TX 76126, phone 888-295-0763. They seem to change their call back number a LOT. Keep getting a letter fishing for information about a time share addressed to someone I don't know at my address. I got the same letter others have referred to claiming they could eliminate my timeshare maintenance fees. I had a lease on a timeshare that expired 15 or 20 years ago, so I have no timeshare fees of any kind. Their letter also claimed they had tried to contact me, which is not true. If I could rate them in NEGATIVE stars, I would give -5. Same company with Fort Worth, TX address claims they can "permanently eliminate all timeshare maintenance fees." They state, in a letter, that they "have made several attempts to contact [me]". Liars. I have NO timeshare and all my call records show no such call(s). My mother got a letter saying she won $1,325,000.00 and a beautiful crystal pendant. hmmm. The fee for this was just 11.89. This is a public service review to alert Yelpers to a scam. Got one of their letters in the mail about a last chance to handle something with my timeshare, implying I might have one that I was unaware of. Since I know I don't own one, I checked the internet. This company does not exist here or at their Texas address. They are probably fishing for your personal information. They seem to be pretty far reaching with their direct mail program. Avoid any contact with them as one lady wrote she called them and they would not take no for an answer. Recycle their mailer unopened is my advice. read more

Just received a letter telling me that I had 12 days, from the date they wrote the letter, to contact them. Concerning a timeshare, and associated fees. I have never, nor will I ever own a time share. So, this is bogus!!!!!!!!! And, if you think that I own a timeshare, then you need to give me the address of said timeshare. They said that in that last letter they wrote. I called, and the first thing the man on the phone asked was what problem I was having with my timeshare. I told him he is the one with the problem. I like to think that the Majority that received the same letter did not fall for It Either, It does not take a genius to catch this scam! One call to them will give them your contact info. I received a letter addressed to my deceased mother from Winterfield Funding. The letter speaks to timeshares, account number, and maintenance fees. My mother has been gone, going on three years and I hate to get letters addressed to her, a deceased person. To be safe, I researched the company on the internet and see that these folks are questionable. I place the blame on the people who sell names and addresses for a buck or two ! Received a Winterfield Funding letter addressed to our PO Box but to a name we do not know. This yelp site confirmed it is a scam mailing and we ignored it. Just a warning to all: DO NOT call Winterfield Fundings toll free number. Whenever you call any toll free number, YOUR phone number is displayed at the company that you are calling, even if you have Caller-ID blocked on your phone. As you will see from the advice of all the other reviews, either ignore this mailing or report it to the proper authorities. read more

I own no timeshare and was concerned that someone may have used my identity and was planning to call them. Before I did, I did my research and found the scam.
