My books were not done right and I had to amend 2 years of returns. These guys helped me do that and I have been with them ever since. I now am beginning to trust them. I meet with my accountant monthly and she keeps me up to date with financial stuff and any issues that I have to be made aware of. I have to say this firm has been a real help.

From the…read moremoment I finally decided it was time to change accounting firms and met Ed, I knew this was the right move. I run a small business with a lot of moving parts, working in several states, and Ed and his team are key to keeping our finances clean, compliant, and on point. Their help with taxes, financial guidance, and payroll services, is second to none. Gone are the days of getting a call on April 14th saying we owe the IRS "XYZ." They explain things clearly, respond quickly to emails, and treat me as an asset to their business. The value is outstanding. If you need an accounting firm that combines expertise with genuine care, this is the real deal!

I've worked with Mike since 2019 as I have looked at several businesses to purchase. He came highly…read morerecommended to me by my attorney and was described as a straight shooter and very intelligent. I later came to find out that he tutored U.S. military academy students in business law, finance, economics and accounting. For this, he had to pass a rigorous global background check. With his mergers and acquisition, business brokerage, corporate finance and forecasting skills honed over 27 years in the corporate world, Mike advised me not to buy company F. A Few years later, I had a letter intent to buy company S. I brought in Mike to give me an opinion on the value of the company as well as to go on site for a week and look at the company's books and records. Mike blessed the purchase but did warn me that, due to the seasonal nature of the business, there were certain things I should prepare for. Lo and behold, many of these things came to fruition. However, I was able to navigate them since I had the crystal ball and road map that Mike provided. In conclusion, over the last 5 years, I would describe Mike as highly ethical and someone who overdelivers. One of his strengths is making the simple complex. I recommend Goriano Experts & Advisors without hesitation.

This is not a legitimate business. This review is being written one month after have interacted…read morewith this individual. I hired the sole proprietor/employee of this "company ", Mike Bankus to do my daughter's taxes for 2023. He said that he had no office, and claimed he was unable to find one for us to use but didn't want us to travel to him or know where he lived for "security reasons " so he asked if he could come to our home. I didn't think much of it at the time. He seemed pleasant enough however the tax forms had not been prepared ahead of time as we discussed several times over the phone. It took him hours to do the work that he had stated would take "15 minutes ". He left thing's unfinished and came back to the house a second time to complete the work that he was hired to do. Upon completion he asked for payment upfront and I paid what he asked for, $175.00. I thanked him and he left. Now, one month later he sends my daughter and I a "revised invoice " demanding an additional payment of $220.00 for trumped up , bullshit fees . Fees for services already paid for !! This all seems very shady, underhanded and certainly not trustworthy. I would recommend that anyone and everyone stay far away from Mike Bankus and this shell LLC that he has set up. If this goes any farther in it's degeneracy I'll update this Yelp post and make others on as many platforms as I possibly can to warn good citizens away from being scammed.
