As a working mom who worries a lot about my child's emotional growth and education, finding the…read moreright place was incredibly important to me. I didn't just want somewhere my child would be "watched"--I wanted somewhere that would actively nurture emotional intelligence and provide my child with the tools to excel in life. I'm thrilled to say that Kiddie Academy of Oviedo has surpassed my expectations in every way. The staff at Kiddie Academy of Oviedo truly understands each child and their unique needs. They are very intentional with every relationship, ensuring each child feels supported, encouraged, and understood. I feel like my child is genuinely seen here, and that is such a relief to me. One of the best aspects of Kiddie Academy of Oviedo is the communication system. It's incredibly user-friendly and transparent. I can check in regularly throughout the day and see how my child is doing through live updates and photos of activities. I get daily, detailed reports that cover everything--from how my child's morning went when they arrived to their eating habits, accomplishments, and the activities they participated in. I even get specifics on their nap times and what meals they ate, down to the portion sizes. This has been invaluable in helping me understand my child's nutrition and overall well-being. The teachers are fantastic--attentive, proactive, and clearly dedicated to giving the children a structured yet caring environment. They put a lot of thought into the activities they plan, and I can see the positive impact on my child's growth every day. The director is also wonderful--attentive and hands-on, she makes an effort to connect with every child and parent, which adds a personalized touch to the whole experience. I recommend Kiddie Academy of Oviedo 100% to any parent going through the transition of leaving their child in someone else's care. It's a place where I feel confident that my child is not just cared for, but genuinely encouraged to grow, learn, and begin to spread their wings.

I would definitely recommend Kiddie Academy of Oviedo! As a first-time mom, I toured plenty of…read moreplaces for my little one, and this was the perfect fit for our family. The classrooms are spacious, clean, and welcoming. I love that I can check in on my child through the live cameras--it gives me such peace of mind. I also receive daily updates and photos of what they're learning, which makes me feel connected to their day. Most importantly, the staff genuinely care about the children. I'm very happy with my choice!

This school confirmed all of my initial concerns. They have a complete lack of communication with…read morethe parents and between each other. The teachers will tell you one thing and the owner another. The owner favors certain families and students over others, allowing those children to be bullies, and she has no leadership abilities, she only strives to make certain families happy. The classroom size grew to twice the number after the holidays and none of the parents I spoke with even knew. The children were left to find their own work with little guidance and the teacher indicated that it was going out of her way to have any one-on-one time with the students. They have no regular communication with the parents and the owner is very confused by the concept of parent-teacher meetings. The owner also shows no concern for the well-being of the children, only the happiness of certain families.

My sister thought she was making an excellent choice by sending her child to a Montessori school,…read morebut Tuskawilla Montessori proved to be a disappointment. Parent orientation was the first clue. This event was both unsocialable and uninformative. On the first day a girl told her child that his water bottle was ugly, and this girl continued to bully him all year. The teacher and administration were fully aware of what was going on and did nothing to stop it. Issues like this surfaced on a regular basis. Personally, I thought that he should be removed from the school when I found out about a lawsuit that had been filed against the school, and the school losing the lawsuit. Tuskawilla Montessori lost the lawsuit because they were inadequately supervising several of the younger children, leading to an incident in which the parents sought legal advice and decided to sue. I would definitely not trust this school to oversee young children. Even though my sister had concerns about this school throughout the year, she tried to make things go smoothly, but there was such a lack of communication from both the owner and between the owner and teachers. According to the teachers everything was always great, but the owner seemed to be persuaded by others and had it in her head that her child was not a "good fit" for the school. However, the owner never communicated any of this until days before school was over. This school has horrible communication, is not able to ensure the safety of their children, and has no regular parent-teacher meetings, which should probably include the owner since she thinks she knows the children more than people who are actually with the child every day. Overall, this school does not put the needs and safety of the children first.

This is our 3rd daycare we've used and it by far exceeds the others in every single way. I know it's a desirable place to be as a teacher too. I have to say I am thoroughly impressed with this daycare. When we first moved to Oviedo I toured a…read morelot of places and although they all seem nice on the surface when you start reading reviews and talking to people who worked there the truth is scary. With Godard Oviedo what you see is what you get and they practice what they preach. Aside from the personal narratives of the people who recommended it I witnessed with my own eyes when we were on tour how caring the staff is of each and every child including the director Scott who picked up a kid who seemed visibly upset when we passed by him and comforted him as if it were his own child. The ladies at the front desk know each kid and parent and treat them with concern and affection. They are always kind and cheerful. Since my toddler began going there I have seen drastic improvement in areas of language, creativity, fine motor skills, and most importantly sleep. She no longer needs to be rocked to sleep. Best part is she also is starting to potty train thanks to her teachers. The love and care for our little ones is obvious and it extends to how well taken care of the facilities are. The location is fairly new and all of the spaces look it. Everything is cleaned and sanitized regularly. They even remain open during Covid and have maintained a standard of health. The one thing parents should know is that they do not serve lunch here but you can opt into a catered meal service. They also don't have a a microwave so the kids lunch has to be shelf or temp stable from early morning drop off until the afternoon. They do not have cameras in the classrooms for parents to log into but you do get pictures and sometimes videos throughout the day in an app and you get a daily report.

After a couple of weeks of calling various places and getting wait-listed, a light bulb went off one night, where I said to myself, "How about the Children's Journey Preschool near my workplace?". My husband and I called the very next day, scheduled a tour with CJP, and enrolled our little one that same day--that's how much we were confident with their dedication to children. The staff have been so wonderful and our little one is always smiling during drop off and pick up. Her teachers are so engaging and attentive. They care for her like she's part of their own family. I know that our little one is in good hands when I drop her off in the mornings. They have served the community for 50 years, which says a lot about their skill, love, and dedication to caring for children. Highly recommend :)
