Oh I should mention that Bruce's dad started this practice and his brother and Bruce have taken it over. So the office in Dearborn has been around for quite a while.

They use all the latest equipment. Their hours, including appointments after 5, are very convenient for working folks. They take extra care to reduce any pain. They also seem very trustworthy in providing you with the care you need rather than suggesting extra unnecessary treatments that add up, as I suspect other dentists do. I was not trusting dentists in general before, but I do trust Dearborn Family Dentistry thoroughly based on my experience with them. I can't recommend them enough and I can actually say I'm 100% satisfied with my decision to come here.

I like it when procedures get explained to you, or what they will be working on next. The care and patience given, to make sure your not in pain, helps relax me when I'm in that chair. Yes, I know no one loves going to the Dentist, especially me. I can say I hate it more than going to the doctors. I do like that they have flat screen tvs placed in all the patients rooms, which helps to keep your mind off things. Procedures have change since I was a little girl, and I find now its less painful (except in the pocket). When it comes to payment, they will work with you and devise a payment plan, if you go that route. They accept credit cards, checks and cash. Special recognition was given to them by Detroit's Hour magazine.

I finally let him pull it, he threw it in the tray and walked away. The assistant picked it up and showed me the infection on the roots. They did a lot of repair work that had been neglected by the prior dentist. I've had a couple years of no dental pain after leaving this dentist.

I used to see Dr. David Newman for my dental work and was very satisfied. Due to my schedule, l've been seeing Dr. Jeffrey Adler for about the last two years. Dr. Adler is also great. Both Dr. Newman and Dr. Adler are great listeners, which is essential to solving problems and keeping me a happy customer. My wife has been a patient of Dr. Dale Garber, and she is happy with him too. Plus, the office staff and hygienists are friendly too. In addition to the high quality dental work and friendly work environment, what makes this practice stand-out above all of the others I've visited is that they give me a "treatment plan" before any dental work is done. The "treatment plan" is actually a quote of how much my dental procedure will cost. This means I know exactly how much my insurance will pay and how much I will have to pay out-of-pocket before any dental work is performed. That means no sticker shock when I have to pay my bill. I wish every medical practice would give me a quote before rendering services. I have recommended Newman Family Dental Center to friends and coworkers. I hope you have a pleasant experience too.

Once in the dental chair they tried to convince me to replace an additional 8 perfectly fine teeth! For aesthetics.. this is not a concern for me.. just my 2 that need replacing! The issue with this practice is more in their deceptive billing! The amount that I was quoted was higher than most other dental practices! I had gone to another dentist who advised me that if a dental practice is in your insurance network they are contractually obligated to charge an in-network amount! The office manager here is a relentless deceptive piece of work!! She acknowledged that this is what they are obligated to do, but she would not honor those in-network prices!! And if you choose a payment plan, they charge you differently based on the time frame of payback.. way too many other dentist out there and I wondered how much over billing they charge people who think this dental practice is good because of community word of mouth..
