The office appeared clean and the staff very friendly. My appointment was for 10:45 and that's about the time I was taken to the room. Fast forward to 11:15. This is the point where I gathered my things and left because I hadn't seen the doctor, nor did anyone have the decency to let me know there was a delay in getting to see him. Granted I didn't go to dental school and pay 100k for my education, but that doesn't mean my time isn't important. Had someone simply stopped in and informed me the doctor was running behind, I'd be fine. Instead, when I left, all the girls were crowded at the front office chit-chatting. Unprofessional.

I had never had a good experience with a dentist in my life (maybe because I have a tiny child mouth and I'm always being yelled at to "open wider"...) so, I almost never went to the same one more than a couple times. I was hesitant to start over at another place, but I am so glad I did... On walking in, you can tell everyone loves working there and that they are a family. Dr Greg and Dr Joanne (married couple practice, how nice?) are so sweet they provide their own figurative job security; plus they have gadgets for checking your teeth that I had never heard of (including this thingy you can rest your teeth on that holds my tiny child mouth open for fillings, etc.) and the whole staff is excellent at what they do. In addition to regular cleanings, I had Six-Month-Smiles (quick braces thingies) to re-straighten my teeth before my wedding, so I got to spend more time there than the average patient which allowed me more time to observe the interactions between the hygienists, assistants, techs, doctors, and other patients. So, there are my credentials on the subject. :) P.S. Almost my whole family goes there now, and everyone agrees, APDC is phenomenal. You should go... tell them Melissa S. sent you!

Dr. Kelly is amazing and has the chair side manor of your favorite neighbor who happens to be a phenomenal dentist. Even the hygienist I get every time is fantastic. They work well with my insurance and are very reasonably priced even when insurance doesn't cover things. (Rare) The office is immaculately clean, decorated well and I feel well taken care of after leaving leaving. I would recommend them to anyone downriver or not. It would be worth the drive even if you had a commute.

The funny thing is we were there to get his teeth cleaned, and you did not even have a person there to clean his teeth. So now I have to go back and pay again because of your incompetence. For both of us, the Lincoln Park Office sd "sorry, we can't help you" I contacted corporate office in Southfield, MI, spoke to Susan who sd she'd take care of us. Instead, Great Expressions Corp would Not take my phone calls, and even blocked me from all social media ! Fortunately, my son was able to get his botched root canal fixed by a different Dentist not affiliated with $hit Expressions, but I an left with 5 missing teeth, a cracked tooth, and two botched fillings which would cost me $thousands to repair. Everyone is friendly, welcoming and willing to help. You will NEVER feel like "just a number". They remember and USE your name regularly. The insurance specialist is excellent in helping you understand what's covered and what's not. The billing is professional and easy to understand. From reminder cards to reminder phone calls, you won't forget about your visit. They're not overbearing about it or anything... just helpful. Dr. Richards is knowledgable and patient, fast, yet thorough. She's friendly and takes the time to explain what's going on, what needs to be done, and when you could probably get it done (with regards to insurance/benefits), etc. I'm glad I found a Dentist's office that I feel comfortable with that I can give my loyalty to and receive the same in return.
