He made several excuses as to why he wouldn't replace it, most having to do with his business being slow and him not having money. He didn't seem bothered at all that he wasn't going to honor his work and have some integrity. Ironically & rather strangely, he actually boasted about property he'd bought in Tennessee or Kentucky & about an expensive rifle he'd just built... So money clearly wasn't that tight and he's still in business today. His ratings are surprisingly good, but potential customers should know the type of person & business they'd be dealing with in terms of parts/work warranty.
