I have a reactive and easily excited rescue pitbull so going to a standard groomer isn't an option because he gets too wild around other dogs. Alexis takes such wonderful care of Hank, despite the fact that I know he's a *handful*. He always leaves soft, shiny, clean, and happy. The snappy bow ties also make him feel very important and handsome. Both Hank and I look forward to his appointments!
I have followed Alexis from when she was a groomer with a chain pet store now to her own grooming business and I wouldn't easily go to anyone else. Aside from the times that I attempted to groom my pup myself, Alexis has been the only groomer I'll use. She is wonderful with my mutt-butt, Scout. She is attentive to each pet's individual needs. My pup is very anxious, and Alexis is cognizant of that and takes the time to give my pup the extra love she needs. Alexis is also very thorough as a groomer, making sure that I express exactly what I want done to my pup and that she understands what I want. Scout has always left with the exact cut that I imagine (I like to keep her tail and beard a bit more scruffy, she is my bearded baby after all). The last time I used Alexis' service, Scout came back smelling like a flower and whatever Alexis used made Scout smell wonderful for at least a week if not more. I also really appreciate the mobile service, even though I'd still drive to Alexis to get Scout her grooming. The convenience is hard to beat and now I kinda feel spoiled. Aside from the great job that Alexis always does, it's clear she has a real love for every pet that she works with. My Scout leaves happy and beautiful, and that makes me happy as a customer. I highly recommend Alexis as a groomer. I say give it a shot at least once, but I guarantee you'll call her again.
Updated review: wanted to pop back in and say that we've been using Alexis for months now and she is the best. Having two older dogs with some health issues, it's nice the have an alternative to big box store groomers. She is wonderful with our girls and keeps them calm and happy. She also does a fantastic job with their baths and haircuts and includes a cute bow, bandana, necklace or other accessory each time. Due to some changes in my puppies health, we needed to move to a mobile groomer as it would be a lower stress option. Alexis was on time, professional and kind with my little fur babies. She did a fantastic job on both of their haircuts and was quick and efficient. I love that I got a text when she was on her way and the girls seemed comfortable with her. So glad to have found an awesome groomer and look forward to seeing Alexis regularly.
This was our first time using Winnie's and it will not be the last. Alexis did an amazing job with my Mini Australian Shepherd. He is so soft and the cut she did on him looks great. Going with a mobile groomer was such a good idea. The dogs (she did another furbaby as well) were much happier not having to be in a cage for hours before getting groomed and came out of her van so much happier and less stressed. Definitely earned a forever customer here.
We have now used Winnie's Waggin' Mobile Spaw for the 3rd time and have already scheduled his 4th grooming session. Neville is an anxious rescue pup, and the first time Alexis met him she was very patient as he barked at her continuously. Luckily, he calmed down when he got in her spaw and came out looking extra handsome in a red bow tie. He had an ear infection from the shelter and the ear drops had caused a big mat under his ear. Alexis removed the mat and cleaned up the gunk around his ear so that you couldn't tell it was ever there. It is extremely convenient that she comes to your house and she always let's you know when she's on her way which is helpful. Neville gets a cute accessory every time which is a fun touch. His coat is feathered which isn't the easiest to manage but he always comes out looking perfect. We will happily continue to use Winnie's Waggin' Mobile Spaw for our precious pup.
Alexis was amazing with Remy! It was his first time being groomed and he was instantly comfortable with her. Scheduling was easy and she arrive right on time. So convenient using a mobile service and no stress or anxiety for Remy at all. He really got personal attention! Thank you!
This was our first time using a mobile groomer and I have to say that we are very pleased. After requesting a quote via email, Alexis responded promptly and we were able to agree on a day and time. She arrived and met my dog, Gunner, and he went right into the van with her. Did I mention that he's a 75 pound Wirehaired Pointing Griffon? He smells great and she gave him a super cute cut and tie all in about an hours time. We will definitely continue to call Alexis to make sure he's always looking and smelling great.
Moving from nyc this has been the best experience ever with Alexis !!! Both my babies are smells so good , coat shinny , paws soft and hair cut amazing all around !! The BEST mobile dog groomer in Old Town Orange! My pup was so well taken care of. His coat is so shiny and pretty. And his haircut is perfectly suited for his breed and personality. He's never smelled or looked better. His groomer, Alexis, is the tops.
I used to take my pup to petsmart to get groomed but got worried because every time we got close to the door she would try to resist going in. She loves EVERYONE so this set me off guard. I saw Winnie's Waggin mobile spa on yelp and decided to give it a try. Probably one of the best decisions I've ever made. My pup gets so excited when Alexis comes over and always comes back home smelling and looking great. I will never go somewhere else again. If you're looking for someone to love and treat your dog with extra care, Alexis is the one.
