I would seriously caution anyone ordering online from this store. I placed a pickup order for…read morearound $56 through Uber Eats. Before Uber even allowed the alcohol purchase to go through, a valid ID belonging to someone over 21 was scanned and approved, including the required selfie/identity verification. When we got to the store, the SAME valid ID that Uber had verified was physically presented to the cashier. The cashier flipped out because the name on the ID didn't match the name on my Uber Eats account and refused to give us the order. If you didn't want to serve me because the names didn't match, that's fine! I can understand a store having policies they need to follow. What I absolutely do NOT fuck with is merchants that lie. The store then told Uber that we "refused to provide ID," which is completely untrue. An ID WAS provided. The cashier looked at it and refused it specifically because the names didn't match. Saying we refused to provide identification is an entirely different story from what actually happened. Because of what the merchant told Uber, my refund was denied. So now this store kept the approximately $56 I paid AND kept all of the merchandise. I received absolutely nothing for my money. At this point, this store basically stole $56 from me. Again, if you didn't want to serve me, fine. But falsely telling Uber that we refused to provide an ID when the entire issue started because the cashier LOOKED AT THE ID and saw that the names didn't match is ridiculous.
