There was cork in the wine and half the cork is in the bottle. I went to exchange the wine today and the pay at the cash register just said that she needs to talk to the distributor to get a credit. As a customer, that isn't my issue. I did not buy wine from the distributor I brought it from this store. I asked how long will that take and she said she doesn't know. She will contact me. This is my 2nd time at the store, so I'm not sure how she's going to contact me. I asked her to take down my information. She then threatens to call the cops and speak over me instead of taking down my information to call me back? I'm not sure what customer service training this is, but it's clear in the reviews that when this woman doesn't want to be a decent human she pulls a Karen and threatens to call the cops. I asked her to call them because they she would have my information as I did nothing wrong. While she wasn't listening and trying to take customers behind, please note I waited on line and told her that she can take the next customer when she writes my info. She finally wrote it down and I have the photo above as proof. It's clear that she has no lack of care as a normal store employee would have refunded me or gave me a new bottle instead of threatening to call the cops. I will be writing to the wine company as well as finding out who the distributor is and leaving a review with the BBB and then I will be getting my money back. I'd advise folks not to shop here going forward. They have old wine stored improperly and thus shitty ass corks. The owner just called me back 2 weeks later and literally accused me of opening the bottle of wine with a knife. They didn't ask any questions. Just told me I used a knife. Do not waste your hard owned money here. I will be writing a complaint with the BBB as this establishment is racist and down right rude.

There are three liquor stores in Longmeadow: Bottle Shop (near the MA/CT border), that one on…read moreLongmeadow Street, and this one. They all have their own motif: - Bottle Shop is the big store: it has a whole wine rack and everything. - the one on Longmeadow Street is the small one that is kind of bright and feels like the place you'd buy cheap stuff. - This one's the classy-looking wood paneled one, where you would think you would find microbrews. Sadly, the beer selection here isn't as vast as Bottle Shop (probably because of the size), but they do have a halfway decent selection, as well as a good selection of other wares (like liquor and wine). So if you're in the Williams Street area, it's a viable option to pick up a bottle or a 6 pack.

I calculate that I spend at least $80.- $100.at this business. Today I was not offered a bag for my 3-pack of sparkling Lunetta wine. I grabbed the three-pack by the bottle top and whoa, the bottle pulled out of the usually hard to peel off cardboard container and the three-pack fell to the floor one and one of the bottles broke. The owner came out obviously displeases and scolded me for not holding the bottles from the bottom. I apologized and asked if I could replace the broken bottle with another one. The owner and the new employee said (not very nicely) "no" and that it was my fault. I am surprised that considering the competition in Longmeadow MA among the 3 package stores that he was so ungenerous. I told him that was not very nice to do to a regular customer (who in 9 months has never broken a bottle before). Thus I am transferring my business to The Bottle Shop Discount Liquors on Laurel St. in Longmeadow. They have a wider range of selection and charge about a dollar less for the little Lunetta 3-pack. It is a little bit further from where I live but I am pretty sure they would not blame the customer and would give me another 6-oz bottle to substitute. It is good business to do so.

I would seriously caution anyone ordering online from this store. I placed a pickup order for…read morearound $56 through Uber Eats. Before Uber even allowed the alcohol purchase to go through, a valid ID belonging to someone over 21 was scanned and approved, including the required selfie/identity verification. When we got to the store, the SAME valid ID that Uber had verified was physically presented to the cashier. The cashier flipped out because the name on the ID didn't match the name on my Uber Eats account and refused to give us the order. If you didn't want to serve me because the names didn't match, that's fine! I can understand a store having policies they need to follow. What I absolutely do NOT fuck with is merchants that lie. The store then told Uber that we "refused to provide ID," which is completely untrue. An ID WAS provided. The cashier looked at it and refused it specifically because the names didn't match. Saying we refused to provide identification is an entirely different story from what actually happened. Because of what the merchant told Uber, my refund was denied. So now this store kept the approximately $56 I paid AND kept all of the merchandise. I received absolutely nothing for my money. At this point, this store basically stole $56 from me. Again, if you didn't want to serve me, fine. But falsely telling Uber that we refused to provide an ID when the entire issue started because the cashier LOOKED AT THE ID and saw that the names didn't match is ridiculous. I'm posting this so other people know exactly what my experience was before placing a prepaid order here.
