This review is for one of my favorite Wingstops, and when I say favorite, I mean it. This location is literally right across the street from me, and I love it for a reason. My chicken is always cooked crisp to a T. And let's talk about that because nothing--and I mean nothing--is worse than slimy chicken. I always ask for my wings well done, and they get it right every single time. Crispy, cooked through, no questions asked. The sauce distribution? Always on point. Never dry, never drowning--just right. And the fries? When I ask for them well done, they actually come well done. No soft, undercooked fries over here. They're always crispy and exactly how I want them. I'm constantly raving about this Wingstop, and I'll continue to rave about this Wingstop because they're consistent. And consistency matters. I love wingstop so I was happy when this place opened. The food is pretty decent. I like the garlic parmesan wings and the mango habanero boneless. Both very nice and crispy and satisfying. Also bursting with flavor. Hand cut fries are also a delight. They are crispy and heavily seasoned. Some may say too salty but I disagree, I think it is just enough The only gripe I have about this place is that they take forever. The other day I came in and waited nearly an hour for my order. This is my second time ever ordering/eating from a Wingstop here in NYC--very nice experience! Ordered through Uber Eats & i don't have a single complaint, honestly speaking. i didn't have to wait long for my order to be delivered, plus everything was right with my order. AND they gave me extra corn & wings!! Everything was utterly delicious, to say the least. My new fave flavor is definitely the hot honey rub wings--soo yummy! Since i'm currently on a low to no carb diet (i love their voodoo & cheese fries, drool!! but unfortunately had to skip it this time around, booo!!), i ordered their corn for the very first time & wow, it was amazing! The cajun corn was so delicious, i ended up eating all 10 pieces (they gave me an extra 5 pieces, omfg i love Wingstop lol) Perhaps the best part of my meal next to the scrumptious wings for sure. My wife is pregnant and she makes me drive all the way from Downtown Manhattan to get wings from Burnside location. Food is hot, fresh and properly sauced. I love their hot honey rub, barbecue and fresh loaded fries. Staff is sweet nice and Manager Norman is so humble and respectful. We asked him to take over Manhattan wingstop also. Store is soon clean and floor is always mopped and when they serve food with respect and live is make a lot if difference. Don't go on negative publicity if you want good food fo to them. If I could give no star rating I would. I called the location on burnside for them to guide me because I was having issues ordering online or through door dash/uber eats all I need to know was the best way for me to order. The person that got on the phone didn't even let me speak and hung up the phone. When I called back and asked to speak to a manager the same guy got on the phone and finally he let me speak. He didn't even apologized for hanging up let alone guided me to I need to do to get my food. Long story short I end up going to the location on 125th in Harlem to get my food. Didn't want anyone pissed and with an attitude to serve me. This person needs to reevaluate their life if working and getting multiple orders get him worked up like that. And what kind of example is he setting for his team? I mean I understand that when pos or digital ordering platforms malfunction it can add certain level of stress to the team, but when you work in the fast casual dining industry customer service is the key to selling any product no matter what it is. I would embarrassed to be part of that team. As a general manager if any member of my staff were to speak like that to a guest whether over the phone or in person they will be terminated. The staff here is very friendly especially the female who answers the phone calls. I have visited twice for pick up orders and have yet to encounter an attitude. However, the cook can definitely season the food better. I have had the lemon pepper wings at other locations and it is always very flavorful but not salty. But I ordered them twice at this location and they are were bland each time. I ordered a Sweet Tea with my food. I received a watered down looking drink with not even ice. It came in the delivery guys hand. No bag, or seal. Would you drink that? Too salty. I have a high tolerance for salty foods but this is over my threshold. I really wanted to like them but I couldn't fool myself. The fries were okay, if anything I like those more than the boneless wings I ordered. I don't understand how terrible this place is. Every time I go after saying I'm NEVER patronizing this particular location I do it anyway and end up disappointed all over again. The people working there....lord Jesus. My friend and I placed an online order I paid extra for the 32oz fountain drink. When we get to the location to pick up the order the lady hands us 2 bottled soda (one for myself and one for my friend) because the fountain machine was out of Order. The bottle was sized at 20 oz so I informed the girl who was helping us that I needed a 3rd bottle because I paid extra for the bigger size and would be taking an L for what I paid for. Granted I understand that that's 40oz (2 bottles) HOWEVER if I paid for something and didn't get it either you compensate me accordingly or give me my money back. I've worked in food and I know that the right thing to do would be to give the customer something CLOSE to what they got. Had I taken 1 bottle I would loose out on the 12 additional oz's I PAID for. Regardless the establishment is loosing out on handing out bottles THEY COST MORE. However regular fountain drinks are 16oz....still losing money on the 4 extra they're handing out. Anywho the little girl working behind the counter decided to argue with me and I'm not the one...I argue back. Her coworker was somewhat helpful and tried to explain to me the situation which I understood but still ONE OF US WAS GOING TO LOSE OUT and me being the paying customer it wasn't going to be me. On top of the girl working there trying to act tough she BARELY did her job. We were missing our fries which thank god we got before we left. And our sauces which we realized after driving off. I made a purchase on 5/1/2020 for a group pack of 30 wings. I only received ten wings, I called the restaurant and the manager Carlos was a complete condescending jerk. The error was their mistake, instead of the wings they gave extra corn. He merely reply "I don't have a delivery driver right now" he didn't care and insisted I contact the delivery partner they selected for the order. My boyfriend had to intercept and the manager stated he would give a refund. 6 days later no refund. I am disgusted, our order was 63 dollars. He was completely unprofessional and disrespectful.
