This is one of the better wingstops in the area. I usually order for carryout online and the process is so smooth. I've had their wings and fries and voodoo fries. They are always pretty good no matter what flavor I get. This time around I tried their tenders and I have to say I enjoyed the limited edition chili lime flavor. Pickup is quick I always check my order before leaving and they have gotten it right each time. I always get a sweet Raspberry tea with my orders. The place is small so basically it's carryout out only. With one table for people to wait or eat at.

My goodness 5 pm on a Tuesday is super busy from the parking lot to the inside waiting space. Kind of hard to see any ambiance- I just see a sea of waiting faces looking at their phones and listening for their names. Whoa these $2.00 tenders should be amazing and they are. Whew, plan ahead, go alone and pack light to get in and out in a jiffy!

The wing stop in North Chicago is by far the best wing stop I've been to in the area. The chicken is cooked to crispy perfection. The sauces and rubs are delicious. My favorite sauce is the Korean bbq sauce, and I pair that with blue cheese dip. I tried the hot honey rub, and I have to say it was pretty good. The rub had a nice heat to it. It will change your wing experience. The fries are so good, fresh and hot. There is not allot of seating inside the restaurant. Seems like most people pick up and go. They might have five tables. I ordered online and picked up in store. The wait time online was 21-26 mins. I got there about 25 mins after I ordered and was told it would be another 5 mins, which was on point. The parking lot is very small and can be difficult getting in and out when busy. Over all, I had a pretty good experience and I will be back.

We decided to stop in on a Saturday afternoon to order a 10 Piece Chicken Wing Dinner and a 6 Piece Jumbo Shrimp Dinner. We also decided on the Cajun Rice and wanted to try the Taffy Grapes as well. The store was very clean and I loved the pictures of Chicago incorporated on the walls. It took about 25-30 mins for our order to be ready but the food was piping hot and tasted very fresh! The wings were fried to perfection and were seasoned perfectly. We chose mild, hot and bbq sauce and those dipping sauces made the chicken taste even better. The Cajun Rice wasn't bad but I'm not sure I would order it again. The Taffy Grapes were coated with a strawberry crumble and were super addicting lol. In my opinion, JJ's is the best chicken wings in the Lake County area. Their service is great and the food is always fresh and delicious!!!

The handful of fries in proportion to twenty-five chicken tenders was laughable and fewer than the amount in the single dinner and required the purchase of an additional box of fries in order to make it a meal for a family of four. The price already had me questioning my decision to buy from here but when I got home I discovered that all of the fries were cold and hard. So, they have run off another customer.

Family & Crab is conveniently located right off Grand Ave and has been beautifully renovated to a modern restaurant with a seafood theme. We visited right when the restaurant opened and the place was super clean. Since we were there to celebrate a birthday, we ordered one of the family platters consisting of crab legs, shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes. For a party of six we had more than enough food. We easily could've had two more people with us for a platter this size. The sauce was delicious as well and ranges in spice level. I will say that the seasoning was quite heavy so it was a bit on the saltier side while I prefer a heavy garlic flavor, but overall nothing to complain about. The kitchen seemed to be very accommodating so if you just told them how you prefer your sauce and seasoning I'm sure it won't be an issue. We also ordered the fried oysters as an appetizer and a simple veggie fried rice to go with the boil. The fried oysters were perfectly crisp and came out hot. I will say that the breading is more flaky, kind of like a tempura. The oyster itself was not overcooked or chewy either. Service was wonderful and super helpful at explaining the menu and what was recommended. She even brought us a complimentary cheesecake slice for the birthday celebrant. Overall, this was a great experience and I highly recommend for anyone craving seafood boil in the area to save yourself the drive and come here!

While I consider myself a foodie, I had little interest in driving around the Waukegan area the night I visited Anastasia's. At first it appeared to be a great choice--myriad people in the bar area talking, eating, and reacting to the televised game. I ordered a glass of wine to start; the pour was rather skimpy. Tempted to order another, I realized a single glass was on the border of my daily alcohol per diem?! I decided to forgo the pizza special for wings and cheese curds. The resulting dishes provided a healthy amount (see picture), however, taste (as other Yelpers note) was average. When you rack up $55 for cheese curds, wings, and a glass of wine, AND you leave feeling 'meh'--for me, Anastasia's is an easy, "Well, I tried it..." experience. I think my next two visits for work will be branching out to the surrounding area for alternative dinner options.

When you think of wings at most bars, you expect something decent, maybe a little too breaded,…read moremaybe drowning in sauce, good enough with a drink but nothing unforgettable. Glen Flora is not that. These wings genuinely outclass the usual bar standard, and they do it without trying too hard. The first thing that stands out is the crisp. Not a thick, heavy crust, just a light coating that gives you that clean crunch when you bite in. A lot of places overdo it and hide the chicken under batter. Here, the texture actually works with the meat instead of covering it up. And once you get past that crisp exterior, the chicken is seriously juicy. Tender, flavorful, and cooked the way wings are supposed to be. The hot BBQ sauce tastes exactly how good barbecue should: smoky, a little sweet, familiar in the best way. But the heat is what makes it special. It doesn't overpower. It lifts everything. The spice sharpens the sweetness and makes the smokiness pop a little more. It feels balanced, like someone actually thought about the flavor What surprised me most? I was there with a few friends, and normally that's all laughs and conversation. But once those wings hit the table, I caught myself zoning out, focused on what was in front of me. I was in my own little world. And at $1 per wing, it almost feels unfair. I ordered 15... and honestly? I should've ordered more. These aren't just "good for bar wings." They're just good. Crisp, juicy, balanced, and way better than you expect walking in. Rating: 8.7/10

There's nothing to eat really that good but it's not bad though. Bar has TVs so usually it's okay watching games awhile. It's about $7 for a basic cocktail. The usual stuff like Jameson. It's about $8 for an appetizer. The Pretzel Bites were simple yet still took a long time. Basic things with cheese or mustard. They were slow again getting our bill so it was even more of a wait. Finally they brought it and we could leave. There weren't even many customers in there. Imagine what it's like when it's busy. This isn't the place to go if in a hurry. Has a pretty nondescript location by some auto garages. It's got a pretty basic menu with greasy things including pizza. This is located at the intersection of Glen Flora Avenue and Walnut.

Our waitress came quick enough to get our order, it's just that the food took a while. Maybe the side with counter walk-up is quicker. Made for a very good sandwich. The fries were a little soggier/more oily than I would like, but I did use them to try the sauces. None of them were overly spicy, just a good flavor. I think my favorite was the Memphis which had a nice smokiness to it. For dessert I did end up ordering the key lime pie and was very happy with it. Tangy and refreshing!
