Location: Popeyes N Fresno area…read moreDate: October 10th, 2026 Service: Mobile Order Pickup This weekend I decided to pick up my absolute favorite Popeyes family value meals that I get original flavor mild dark meat only I do like the feature that they recently added that lets you choose what type of chicken you wanted if you want mix if you want a white meat only or dark meat only it gives you that option. Their family valuables are quite affordable and has at mostly everything in it. I went through the drive-thru to pick up my order I was the only girl waiting due to the parking lot area was blocked due to homecoming across the street at Fresno State.

Extremely disappointing experience at the Popeyes on Cedar Ave in Fresno…read more I came specifically for the advertised 12 tenders for $12 mobile offer, but the app would not process my order. I went through the drive-thru and explained the problem and asked if they could honor the offer. I was told no and that I had to order online. I pulled out, parked, and tried again several times. It still wouldn't work. When I finally went inside for help, I was then told they were out of tenders. I ended up ordering the $23.99 family meal. I was told it came with two family-size sides, but when I asked for two red beans and rice, I was charged extra for one. I had to get that charge refunded and ended up leaving without the red beans and rice. I specifically asked for hot sauce, honey, and butter. I received NONE of them--not even napkins. I also was not given an itemized receipt. When I tried to enter my receipt for Popeyes Rewards, it said the receipt was "expired." I went back to the cashier for help and was basically told, "The system is down. I can't help you." No apology and no attempt to help resolve it. Then I got home and discovered I received only 7 pieces of chicken instead of the 9 I paid for. I spent around $40, live approximately 45 miles away, and obviously wasn't going to drive all the way back after discovering the missing chicken. Mistakes and computer problems happen. What bothered me most was how unapologetic and dismissive the employees were. After multiple problems, a simple apology and some effort to help would have gone a long way. Very disappointing experience from beginning to end.

Finally, Korean Fried Chicken Again! Huge Wings and Delicious Food!…read more I've been craving Korean fried chicken ever since Bonchon closed down, so I was excited to finally give bb.q Chicken in Clovis a try. I'm glad I did! I placed my order through the app, and one thing customers should know is that the food takes approximately 30 minutes to prepare. My family had already mentioned the wait, and I believe the app also provided an estimated preparation time. When I arrived, my order was ready for pickup! Here's my biggest tip: Start with the 8-piece wings! I was expecting wings similar in size to Wingstop or Buffalo Wild Wings, but these were surprisingly HUGE! I honestly wasn't expecting them to be that big. Eight pieces can be plenty, especially if you're ordering sides. Unless you're feeding a larger family, you might not need 16 or 24 pieces. I definitely learned that firsthand! The chicken was absolutely delicious and exactly the kind of Korean fried chicken I've been missing. I love traditional bone-in wings, so that's always my preference over boneless chicken. We also ordered fries, and surprisingly, my mom loved them! She's pretty picky when it comes to food like this, so that says a lot. The seating area was decent, and the pickup process was convenient. Everything was ready when I arrived, and I had no issues with my order. Overall, I'm happy Clovis has a place where I can enjoy Korean fried chicken. The portions are generous, the food tastes great, and I'll definitely be returning whenever I'm craving crispy, flavorful bone-in wings! Overall experience: 5/5

You can always order online which I recommend because ordering in the store will be about 25 minutes. We opt for the soy garlic or honey garlic. It really just depends on how we're feeling. Lately we've been getting this soy garlic. I will say that it is a tad bit pricey for what you get. If they threw in two more wings, I would say that's a fair price. When we pick up our meal, we're always greeted with a smile and told where we can get napkins and utensils. I wish that their rewards program was stronger. Knocking down at one star because of the price and what you get.

But sadly it felt like every time we went (which was like once a month) it just got worse and worse. We got 2 pizzas today and it felt like a completely different place. The cheese didn't melt like it used to. The toppings were non existent. We got a sausage pizza and it literally had one or two max little sausages on each slice. Having a slice with one tiny sausage and bland cheese just doesn't cut it. The flavor just got bad for some reason. I don't think I'll be going back as we gave it too many tries. Also forgot to add this. The previous time we went we ordered it online and went to pick it up as they said like 25minutes. Went about 30 minutes after ordering and they said it will be ready in like 10 more minutes. I thought that was a long time for a pizza. Well 10 more minutes went by and they said they didn't make the pizza. But would start a fresh one if o wait another 20 minutes. They did atleast make up for it with a free item.

We ordered two personal Chicago deep-dish pizzas -- he got the All Meat and I got the Combination. Both were absolutely phenomenal! Everything had so much flavor, the crust was PERFECT, and the cheese was CHEESING. Seriously, every bite was delicious! The location itself was a little smaller than I expected, so if you're planning to dine in, just keep that in mind. There are no restrooms and they have bottled sodas rather than a fountain, but honestly, neither bothered us at all. We were there for the pizza, and it did NOT disappoint!
