There is better in lowere Luzerne County in the Wilkes Barre and Dallas areas, but for this far up...this is top notch. First... a tray of pizza is 14 cuts, but they do sell a half tray of 7 cuts. You must order onions for additional flavor. Their sauce is pretty good, although I did note a little more oregano in it this time, which I am not a fan of, but it was still really good. I always get 1 to 2 trays to take home with me when I am in town. The Buffalo hot wings are the absolute best! The celery was so fresh, and the blue cheese dressing was chunky, tangy, and fresh and was the perfect accompaniment to the spicy, but not too spicy, wings. Hubby is a wing FREAK, and he has to have these wings every time we visit the area as soon as we hit town!

All the food was cold and he failed to even cut up the cheese for his pitiful excuse for charcuterie until he arrived at the venue, which was AFTER the ceremony. Cocktail hour had to be extended and she was unable to even cut her cake, as time ran out - all because of this man's failure to adequately prepare for such an event. Even the venue owner was appalled, as he had never seen such an abomination. So very disappointing, especially for the amount of money he was charging.

I went for a plain slice, a sweet sauce slice, and a mushroom slice. Their slices are huge--one is about the size of two cuts from other places. They also have a massive pie called "the colossal," though I haven't tried it yet and might not, since that's a lot of pizza. They don't skimp on toppings--the mushroom slice was loaded and nicely thin-cut, crisp and flavorful. The sweet sauce had a pleasant, balanced taste, and the plain slice had that classic old-school vibe. Great service, delicious pizza--I highly recommend Uncle Joe's.
