With the support and devotion of her family, Wendy is one such anomaly. We found Wendy quite much through word of mouth and with all the accolades she was given we knew that this was the place we wanted Pugsley to live out his life. You see he had isolated himself in the corner of our garage and almost refused to come out. We provided everything he needed, heating and cooling, good food and the best fruits we could find. Honestly, I probably wouldn't have come out either. But we contacted Wendy but she didn't have a shelter for Pugsley to live in. But she didn't give up on him and neither did we. She allowed us to pick a location on her property with the understanding that we would buy a erect a shelter and build a fence just in case Pugsley had a hard time adjusting to the other animals. So we did and now he has a wonderful new . We also heard that he met Christina Hoguiler, a female potbelly, and although it didn't sound like love at first sight there maybe hope for a beautiful friendship. Thanks again Wendy for loving our Pugsley and all animals!

I usually identify all of my bags for donation by either writing Green Drop or G.D. On the bags and or boxes. I was able to reach out to the director to retrieve my porch furniture. I received the 2 chairs and the ottomans back, but I did not receive the table that was also taken. I spoke to a manager who promised to just purchase a new table for me. I sent several pictures with prices from Amazon and I never received a response. Needless to say, I ended just purchasing the table myself at the cost of about $40. No big deal. I vowed to give them another chance. However most recently, like within the last 2 weeks, they picked up another donation from my home. Approximately 6 garbage bags marked G.D., 1 small Home Depot Box also marked G.D. and another box that was marked NOT FOR DONATION. I have called these folks to try to retrieve this box to no avail. I had many items in this box that I will never be able to replace, my late dogs ashes, signed box from my children's grandfather, who is no longer with us and a few other items that are not replaceable . Green Drop called me today, a week later to tell me they were unable to locate said box. I will not be donating with them again. They are not able to follow directions. Very disappointed!!

Told me to call mid-day to get a "better idea" of pickup time. Just called at 3:00 and Amvet representative has a tv BLARING in the background so I could hardly hear her. She claims she can't give me ANY indication of when they will arrive. So unprofessional and unhelpful. Told her it has started to rain and pressed further to ask her to at least make a call to get me a pickup status. She hung up on me. I'm bringing my donations inside because I have to leave my home and won't leave this tv outside to get poured on. I realize this is a volunteer organization, but she is a pathetic representative of the organization. No appreciation for the donations whatsoever. Her attitude gives Amvets a bad name. I went online and noticed their reviews are pretty bad, so I'm not the only one that has had a bad experience. I donate a ton of stuff every year. Never again with Amvets. Never again.
