This location did seem a little less busier than the location in Davie however, towards the end of the day, it does pick up a little bit. I also really liked that they offer adult beverages liquor, wine, and canned drinks which gives parents a chance to relax a bit while the kids play. The fun bites were fresh, sweet, and crispy definitely a highlight. They also have Dippin' Dots (one of my favorites), and those did not disappoint. We ordered pizza, chicken tenders, and fries as well those were just okay, nothing special, but the kids enjoyed them. Pricing was reasonable overall. Just note that socks are required and need to be purchased, and jumping is charged by the hour. Some attractions like the zip line and arcade games come with additional fees. I really appreciated the designated area for kids under five it's a safe space where little ones can play without worrying about bigger kids.

You can only buy either $20 or $50 or even more expensive game card nothing in-between it offered 400 points or 1200. I had never done a color run so I was excited. It was the most disorganized run ever. Upon check in there was a giant line I am not sure what for because the registration table was not taking people from the line but anyone who just walked up. I noticed this not long after I waited thankfully. Each person had to pay an additional 5 dollars cash even with the groupon. They did not ID you or have you sign any paperwork. And they gave you 1 pack of color powder each. The area pre/post race had a couple of food trucks and vendors. In the middle was a BIG stage with a dj and some hype man type guy trying to get the energy up. There was also a woman dressed like a broke ass raggedy ann up there doing the same. The wave we were in was the 6pm one. The course itself was a joke and so unorganized that a ton of people thought the race started so they ran off. The rest of us had to wait for them to return back before they officially started the race. You had to run the course twice to complete a 5k which means you had to actually exit the course through the finish line and try to make your way through a huge crowd in the post race/dj area and enter in the starting line again. In the course the actual track was way too narrow for all the people there. People were zigzagging between others and cutting off parts of the course. I'm pretty sure I inadvertently missed a whole chunk of the course because It wasn't marked off correctly. They do throw color on you pre race, mid race and at the finish line. You end up getting covered even if you aren't trying. They have a lot of black lights in the mid race and post race area so it pops the powder color. Overall I'll never join this 5k again total rip off. A lot of kids were there and seemed to be having a blast so for families this could be a great healthy alternative to watching the Disney Channel on a saturday night.

It is a major sports and entertainment venue and is most famous as the Home of the NHL's Florida Panthers!! It hosts hockey games, concerts, family shows, and other large events, with a capacity of around 20,000 for hockey and more for concerts. Parking was $50. To save time and money, it is best to pre-purchase your parking ticket online. Ladies should check the allowed size of their handbags online or they won't get thru security. We wore our special small see-thru plastic crossbody bags made for stadiums that are a little larger than our cell phone. It's a pain but it's the rule. The Cardi B concert was great and her fans were loving the many songs that she performed. Her background dancers were fabulous. The sound machine was working perfectly. For some reason, she was 45 minutes late in appearing but we quickly forgave her once she started her wild R rated show. We had seats at the South Florida BMW Finally Suite Level on the upper and final level, where we were very comfortable and they provided delicious food and drinks for us as well as super comfy couches. Great hosts. Great seats! Great time!

This festival was previously named Artoberfest. It has now been renamed Oktoberfest and takes place…read moreon the third Saturday of the month in October on the great lawn at the Coral Springs City Hall. This year the festival was from 4 to 10 PM. You can park for free at the garage and there is no admission charge to attend. Oktoberfest features games, limited shopping, food, and entertainment. This years contests included spelling, stein race, yodeling, and a stein holding competition. Food was sold from trucks and included German favorites like schnitzel, bratwurst, pretzels and beer cheese and American cheeseburgers and fries. If you want to eat without a hassle come when they open at 4. There are a few tables set up or you can bring your own picnic gear. I meant to come earlier but got held up. Instead I tried coming after church at 7:30 and the lines for food were extremely long. I ended up skipping the food in favor of watching the band and some dancers. The event also had a beer garden but they ran out of the souvenir steins early on. This is the kind of event where you park some chairs and a blanket on the lawn and sit and relax for a few hours as you run into neighbors and friends. I never fail to see at least one and more likely several people I know. While this Oktoberfest may not be as authentic as the festival put on by the German American Club this is still a great time. It is family friendly and it was a nice evening out under the stars.

A fun free thing to do during the holidays is check out all of the lights and decorations. One of the houses surprisingly not on the list is this two story home located in Riverside Walk. This is a personal favorite of mine ever since I discovered it a few a years ago, I think it is the best use of technology. 80,000 lights are synchronized to music, graphics, and movie clips. Most of the music is Christmas songs but my favorite is when the synchronize it to Fall Out Boy's My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light it Up). To hear the music tune your radio to 88.5. This is such a good light show and it is really long too. It wraps around two sides of the house. Parking can be kind of cramped in this neighborhood so come during the week for the best view. The Light show runs Monday through Sunday from 6 PM to 11 PM nightly.

The band Reaxtion played old school songs and some new pop music, as well, allowing for many people to dance. There were many vendors with a variety of items to purchase. You could also find food trucks with Italian food and some other dishes to wet your palate . They had some blow up bounce type activities for kids to enjoy and play inside. There was also a game at no costs to play giving out a ball as a prize to each winner. At the end there was a trophy for best Italian food since it's meatball day ... A nice evening with many things for all ages to do.

Parking is limited at the Sportsplex but you can park in the warehouses next door and across the street. If you don't want to wait in long lines come early. Traffic was already backing up for the festival by 3:45. What was especially nice this year was the Sportsplex has a large new covered field with Astro Turf. They set up the stage with a country cover band, tables and chairs, and bleachers in this area. Other attractions at the festival included a few carnival rides, bounce house, haunted house, food trucks, pony rides, petting zoo, craft vendors. and contests for costumes, pumpkin carving, and scarecrow building. I spent the evening hanging out with my friend. We caught some of the concert and ate at the Pork O' Rican Food Truck and had Italian Ices. We shopped at the tents and I bought a light up Halloween decoration. We waited in line forever for the haunted house and laughed our heads off. Throughout the night I saw a lot of people I knew and many of the kids who go to my school. So fun to see everyone in costumes. At the end of the night the town officials announced that Margate is going to host the Broward County Fair this year. Awesome news and more great times to look forward to.
