Have been passing this location for many years. Was in the area, needed lunch & decided to stop…read moreby. This tiny spot is walkup or drive-thru only. There was one customer there around noon and they were in the drive-thru. Since it was a hot day, I opted for the same. There's a large menu board with plenty of fried fish and fried chicken wing options. I didn't want a big meal so I decided on the buffalo wings & fries lunch special. For $6, I got 6 wingettes and fries. There was about a 10min wait at the window to receive my order. The wait wasn't too bad, so it didn't bother me. I was, however, disappointed by the wings. To start, the standard buffalo flavor was there. The wings had been fried appropriately, no complaint there. What was frustrating was that the meat of the chicken was tough. The meat, itself, was hard to chew. It felt like the wings were maybe sitting in some salted water until being cooked but they were in the solution for too long. I was really looking forward to this place living up to its name but the wings really fell flat. The fries, on the other hand? Yummy! They were those lightly-battered crispy fries, fresh out of the oil and held their heat for a while. Service was regular, but that was fine for it being the drive-thru. If the wings were better, I'd have felt like the price I paid was worth it.

Want the best fried jumbo shrimp and corn nuggets in South Florida? Then visit Wings on Fire!…read moreThey're so delicious and reasonably priced. I've tried shrimp in so many restaurants and they don't taste as good as the ones from Wings on Fire. They're so much more than just chicken wings. They also sell burgers, philly steak sandwiches, tilapia, snapper, catfish, flounder, grouper, macaroni and cheese, conch, fries, and sea food rice. Definitely recommend it, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Neighborhood Treasure in Miami: Lemon Peppers…read more Driving up from the Keys to Miami International Airport, we decided to skip the expressway (because let's face it, great food isn't found there ) and wound our way through the neighborhoods. That's when we found Lemon Peppers--and wow, what a find! From the moment we stepped in, Dominique made the experience unforgettable. Friendly, patient, and full of great suggestions, she answered every question with a smile that never faded. Top-notch service like that deserves a round of applause (and yes, a generous tip ). We went for the Catfish & 2 Wing Special plus 4 Whole Lemon Pepper Wings . The catfish? Crispy, tender, and so flavorful it didn't even need hot sauce--though we eventually indulged just for fun. The Cajun rice was exactly how we wanted it--customized to perfection. The menu is a foodie's playground : empanadas , tostones , seafood , and all your fried favorites. And the juices? Pure nostalgia in a cup --sweet, icy, and packed with flavor. Final verdict: If you're in Miami, skip the highway and take the detour . Between the food and the service, Lemon Peppers is worth every mile. #MiamiEats #FoodieAdventure #NeighborhoodGems #LemonPeppers #CatfishGoals #WorthTheDetour

I was on my way to the grocery store for dinner. By the time everything was said and done, the grocery store was closed and I was hangry. Nothing was open, I was extremely tired and done for the day! What could I do? Go get a catfish sandwich. The AAA guy told me to not turn the car off, so I had to go through a drive thru. Drive to Lemon Peppers- THEY HAVE SOME OF EVERYTHING!!!!! I didn't know whether to get oysters, shrimp, conch?!?!?! I ended up getting a catfish sandwich and fries- the guy taking my order was super nice and welcoming. Just an overall great show of customer service- even at 11:45PM!!!!! My order with fries wasn't super expensive, and the the guy taking my order was so kinds to have me park in front (with my car running) and they brought my order out. Fuss was fried to perfection. Brad was regular. Thank God they didn't slather it with mayonnaise!!! I wasn't unhappy AT ALL! I'll go back for sure!
