WHO'S freakin idea was it to grind the shrimp, crab meat and crawfish and make an enchilada stuffing!!!!??I wanted to be like Top Chef and take the plate and throw it back at the chef!! Daaaa BLEEP! 2. WHO'S idea was it to take charro beans and mush/puree them to make refried beans??!!! It was my Latino male chaperone who noticed that. 3. WHO'S idea was it to serve me THEN charge for 5 day ole pico de gallo!! How I know it was that old was because of the consistency of the vegetables, I make bean salad and I know the taste and look of the tomatoes, onions etc when I haven't eaten within 3 days! 4. They called ahead, gave a head count and only had 1 waitress for 30 people. 5. Let me also mention, UP CHARGE on an Arnold Palmer and NO FREE REFILL for it! In the time since, however, they have learned the ropes and the business seems to be doing well. I had the tortellini with a grilled chicken breast and really enjoyed it. The sauce was especially good and the chicken was grilled perfectly. I had it with a glass of the house merlot, which was also very good. My only comment would be that I would have liked to have had a small house salad to start the meal. It's pretty traditional to have a salad included as a starter, and it would have made a good meal just that much better. The service was excellent. There was only one waitress on duty, but she handled all of the customers well and did a good job of checking up on me. From the outside there is nothing that really sets this apart from the neighborhood, but once I stepped inside I was very impressed. The tables were all cleaned and cleared even though lunch was just ending, and the overall atmosphere was clean and inviting. If you're in the area this is definitely a place to stop for a nice lunch or dinner.
