I found her after my previous stylist had scheduling conflicts and that flu bug hit her hard at a time I wasn't able to wait. I had just been through a health issue that had left my hair dry, broken, thin and just plain awful. Fatima rescued me! She conditioned my hair so it began its slow recovery. She trimmed and shaped it so I didn't look like a sea hag any longer! (I am not exaggerating!) Now, about 9 months later, my hair has regained its thickness and shine. The change is amazing....really! I recommend Voila whole heartedly! Fatima is amazing. I have watched her colleague, Clara, too! She is great too!

She is listed as a Level I Stylist on the website but I had a good feeling about her. She immediately understood what I was trying to accomplish with my hair. I have curly/wavy hair and I like to wear it curly or blown out sometimes and it has been hard to find someone here who could create the style I wanted. I've even gone as far as to get my haircut on long layovers with my previous stylist in AZ! Cydney totally exceeded my expectations. She had the most gentle energy about her and knew what I was trying to say immediately. I finally feel like myself again! I am so grateful that I finally found someone who "gets it". The only reason I didn't give 5 starts is because some of the other stylists were talking some smack about other customers which always makes me wonder what they could be saying about me when I am not there but Cydney didn't participate in it and that earned her even more respect in my eyes. Can't wait to see her again for my next cut!

I think the stylist and I might have had a miscommunication because I asked for her to put more layers in my hair and clean up my bangs. She asked if she could cut off a little bit of length because of my split ends, and I said that was fine. But when I walked out she'd cut off a good four inches, and the layers were barely there. The ends of my hair are really boxy, blunt, and heavy now, but I'm afraid to go anywhere to fix it because I don't want to lose even more length. I hate to leave a negative review because this was a really nice place and the stylist was really kind but I'm so sad about my hair. I look like Lord Farquaad.
