Not…read moreonly am I frequently too exhausted/busy to cook, the idea of even leaving my house to go to Dorothy Lane to pick up healthy pre-prepared food is often overwhelming to me. In comes Kate. Her food is fresh, flavorful, healthy, interesting, seasonal, and beautifully presented. It requires a minimal amount of prep beyond heating, a few veggie and/or herb chops, and voila! The portions are surprisingly hearty, and I always have leftovers, whether I am ordering for 1 or 2. Customer service is always on point, responsive, professional. I'm so grateful we have a local answer to some of the bigger box meal delivery services. While I enjoyed those in the past, I feel better knowing my food is coming from the local community, instead of mass shipped across the US. Very grateful for Kate's Plate every Monday when the food is delivered to my front door. I can't say enough great things, other than thank you!

I absolutely love this service! For a bit of background, I…read morelive in a downtown area with very few organic produce options, so Green Bean is a saviour to me. (I also don't really like to grocery shop.) They are always on time in their deliveries, decently priced, and have a lot of great produce options. One of the distinct advantages of this service is they offer a lot of other groceries besides just produce unlike some of the other Famer's Boxes I've tried. Another key reason I've stuck with using them is that their website design is clear and simple to use, and they send me a reminder email whenever I need to customize my box. All items have arrived undamaged, and taste great! Lastly, by not having to go to the grocery store, I am saving time and money because I don't end up buying things I don't really need by browsing. Green Bean is a much more conscious way of shopping, and I have greatly reduced my monthly grocery bill.

Green BEAN Delivery is an absolute godsend! Imagine fresh, delicious, organic groceries delivered…read moreright to your door every week. THAT's Green BEAN. You go online and choose what bin size you want for your family, and how often you want it. For my family we get the small produce bin every other week and it is more than enough food. The absolute BEST part is you are allowed to customize what comes in your bin. You bin comes with whatever is in season, but let's say you're not a huge fan of broccoli. You can switch out the broccoli for any other item in the drop down produce menu. At the store I go for one thing, and end up spending so much more than I wanted. This way it saves me time and money. Also I feel more in control and aware of what I'm eating. Since I personally order 2 or 3 oranges I can control how many I want (unlike the grocery store) so the rest of the bag won't go bad. We started a few months ago and now we have it down to a science. We are eating healthier, and my stress levels have gone WAY downhill. We take a trip to Findlay for some meat, and the rest of the week we get creative and try to use the seasonal ingredients in a fun and new way together. I plan on having Green BEAN for as long as they will keep delivering to me! Oh, and it's only $35 for the small bin + Free delivery! Also a great gift for older parents who can't get out to the store as often as they'd like. I cannot thank Green Bean enough for helping me keep my family happy and healthy!!
