It's a nice option from the typical well known Mexican beers that are mainly lagers. I tried a sampler of 8 beers. The waiter asked me my preference in terms of hoppiness, then chose a selection of beers that included IPAs, pale ales, a hellesbock and stouts. All were very good to excellent. I noticed there was also a Mexican tripel that was not included on the sampler. It was the only bad beer I had, lacking any of the nice yeast flavor so typical of Belgian tripels. I happened to sit next to an American businessman who loves Belgian beers. He ordered me a Delirium Tremens, which is an excellent tripel that was much better then the Mexican-brewed tripel. I highly recommend Fiebre de Malta for a good exposure to some excellent Mexican craft beers.

They speak Spanish and it is not a place that looks for the gringo market, but if you are staying in Roma and want to pick up some brews, this is the place to hit. There is an awesome, old school pulqueria next door. Again, it's a local haunt, but Mexicans love gringos interested in pulque.
