Yuliana and Trinity were absolutely amazing--so friendly, fun, welcoming, and full of positive energy! Yuliana even offered me the stuffed jalapeños, and OMG... they were delicious! You can really see that her management and leadership make a difference. Yuliana and Trinity, thank you for making my visit so enjoyable! Choose from 1 of their many signature Sub sandwiches or be bold and create your own! I like being able to call out what I need and watching my sandwich get built up only to come to its sweet, sweet short end. 1 of my go-to's when I am not feeling bold is the "Listen Linda." I think this falls under a simple sammy and delivers on what you'd imagine as a classic. Turkey Breast, Bacon, Swiss, Avocado + "The works" (no onion for me!). I usually get this on a sweet roll but sometimes live a little wild and get it with Dutch Crunch. I find their produce to be fresh and flavorful. Their bread is so soft and is always the perfect addition to my stomach. After you enjoy your sandwich, don't forget that fresh baked cookie they add to the bag! All their locations have the same ambiance. Classic sandwich spot smell, extra goodies like chips, drinks and sweets. Get you wich fix satisfied with Mr. Pickles!

This small local cheesesteak restaurant quickly became one of my go-to's and is now part of my…read moreregular food rotation. First off, the cheesesteaks are delicious. So far I've tried the supreme cheesesteak and the hot cheesesteak; both are really good and highly recommended. You can't go wrong with the top three, which I believe are the original, the hot, and the supreme. I think the highlight of these cheesesteaks is definitely the bread. It's soft but not too moist, providing the perfect texture. It's not hard at all, like a Banh Mi Vietnamese sandwich, but there is still a nice crust and crunch to the bread with a perfect taste. The pictures don't do it justice from the surface, but as you bite into it, they mix the melted cheese of your choice very well with the steak for a nice burst of flavor. Pair it with their amazing original French fries that remind me of some really good fast food fries, like from McDonald's or other local fry spots. The service is what you expect from a local small restaurant. They're nice, chill, and very simple. You order, and they call you when your order is done. They treat you well, especially if you ask for extra condiments such as mayo and ketchup, though ranch does cost extra. They serve it on a nice little metal tin platter with parchment paper, which makes it feel and taste great, especially when you eat it fresh inside the restaurant. To my surprise, the first few times we ordered from here, we got it to go, and it was still good by the time we brought it home. Regarding the size, I would say normally you can't go wrong with the standard size, which is the regular or the small. It is filling already. If you're extra hungry or just really feeling a cheesesteak, the large will definitely do you justice and make you feel satisfied. In my photos, I've attached pictures of the supreme and the hot cheesesteak. You can't go wrong with either, but my choice is definitely the hot. I've also tried their other items, such as the standard hot dog, which comes with the same bread. Based on other photos people have posted, it looks delicious as well. It is like a standard hot dog, but I'm telling you, the bread is something very unique about this restaurant. I think that's what makes you want to come back. The bread, plus the way they cook the cheesesteaks and everything put together, makes this place stand out. The vibe inside is very chill, serving more as a quick-eat area. It is a nice place to just get lunch or a quick dinner. It's pretty small, maybe fitting only 30 or so people, and they're located right next to the movie theater. I feel like this shop is a small hole-in-the-wall, and I highly recommend it. I don't think you would regret it.

So I decided on the Supreme Cheesesteak, which had everything, mushrooms, onions, peppers, and I added wiz and white American. Also got the cheese dog for my son. We sat down for what felt like only 5 minutes and the food was ready. I was super impressed. Spoke with the owners daughter and she said her dad and mom have been making these for 20 years. I was eager to try. First impressions are OH MY GOD these are huge. Second impressions, OH MY GOD these are so freakin good. I've had cheesesteaks all across Sacramento and Roseville after a friend got me hooked on them. We went up down and around the county to try all of the highly rated restaurants. This one we never made it to. Out of all the places, this sits at the top of my list as number 1. They use real Amoroso rolls. They have cheese wiz that is thick and gooey. They have Cooper Sharp!!!! Other places we tried felt like imitation at best. Cheesesteaks felt like an original Philly shop. Why was it good? Beef was chopped perfectly about 1/4 inch pieces. The meat was juicy AND seasoned to complement the salty cheeses. The roll was toasted just a bit to give the sandwich a firm base because there was so much juice from the beef. But it never once was hard to bite into and it never disintegrated like other places. Also...the cheese wiz didn't just melt away to nothingness. It was thick enough to coat the meat and stay gooey. You could tell the skill and knowledge of the mom and dad making these sandwiches. The hotdog was massive! It was a footlong all beef dog in a toasted bun. The cheese wiz on top was a perfect compliment. The fries were crunchy and fluffy. If McD fries are top notch, these topped McD fries. I've never been more impressed or surprised by a place as I was here. If I could give them a Michelin star, I would. So good and satisfying.

Firehouse's footprint seems to be shrinking a bit these days with a few store closures here & there. So, good to know there's still some dinosaurs still around, lol. This store happens to be right next door to a much busier Chipotle restaurant. I ordered my sleeper menu favorite, the Jamaican Jerk Turkey, large. It's a steamed hot sandwich. Good size. Could likely make 2 meals for all but the biggest of eaters (me), idk? But, a large by itself will set you back now $18.50 w/ tax. Ouchie. And you'll have to shell out a few more bucks on top to make it a combo meal. Essentially obliterating a $20 bill. Chock that up to inflation I suppose? Nearly $20 is about the absolute ceiling of what I'd be willing to pay just about anyplace else for a similar sandwich/meal. Especially considering you can get nearly a multi-course meal at a sitdown restaurant for about the same price (think Applebee's or BJ's Brewhouse as examples). Service was fine here and my sandwich tasted great. The open beverage fountains at Firehouse are among the best in the casual food industry with multiple choices from a higher-tech dispensing machine. Consider signing up for Firehouse's rewards program to build points towards free food and for the occasional perk. It's a winner.

Well a fun little hobby of mine is to enjoy participating in birthday freebies that casual dining places like Firehouse Subs offer, but some do come with qualifications-this establishment being one of those and the basic requirements is you have to make at least a $1 purchase 6 months before your birthday and earlier than 7 days before your birthday to qualify for a free medium sub of choice. So it was getting close and I realized I hadn't made a purchase to qualify so after searching the app to find a $1 purchase I realized I was actually kinda hungry so I decided to buy a kids combo for $4.99 and I went with a meatball sandwich. The combo comes with choice of drink or bottled water-I went with water and I think a cookie but I upgraded to the brownie for an additional $1. I ordered from the parking lot so I just walked in and with 4 minutes I had my food was ready. Parking at this location is kinda hectic while also being convenient as they share a lot with many popular businesses so it can get crazy in there but there are so many spots-it balances out. The lobby was nice and clean-plenty of seats-they have my favorite type of soda machine-the one that looks vintage but with the touch screen with the crazy amount of flavor options for your soda-immediately got me thinking " why did I get a bottled water?" I totally forgot they had a hot sauce bar-that used to be one of my favorite things about Firehouse-as a true chili-head,being able to try the different hot sauces was something I always enjoyed. Now let's talk about the food- The brownie was terrible-did not enjoy this at all-in fact I couldn't even finish it-tasted bad and for sure wasn't worth a calorie past the 1st bite-so total dud. The mini sandwich I got was the meatball sub-basically a meatball covered in melted cheese and marinara sauce.I don't know if I could've eaten than thing any faster-I enjoyed it so much-my initial thought was "what was I thinking getting a mini of something so delicious"I wanted more -it was so good-I don't have any critiques-it was super yummy-didn't even need any hot sauces-I really enjoyed it. In closing-mission accomplished-This visit qualified me for the birthday freebie in the future and I honestly enjoyed my little mini treat from Firehouse-I will for sure report at a later date how the birthday freebie experience went-but I'm thinking based on this experience,it's going to be great-Stay Tuned.

I've already shared this feedback with corporate, though their response felt like a generic form letter. I'm not asking for a refund or coupon, just consistency and better quality control. "The Night I Broke Keto... And I Regret Nothing "…read more So my wife and I were sitting there trying to figure out where in the world we wanted to eat. Honestly, at that moment I could've gone for just about anything. We had managed to escape the kids for a little bit, and with our 15th anniversary tomorrow, we figured we deserved a little break from reality. Long story short... Then long again... BEHOLD... BONCHON. We walked in and immediately got that subtle, low-key "you just found a hidden gem" kind of vibe. Nothing overly flashy, just a nice, chill atmosphere that makes you feel like you discovered something the rest of the neighborhood hasn't figured out yet. We got seated and the service started off great. Everyone was nice, attentive, waters came out quickly, and then... THE REAL CHALLENGE BEGAN. What the heck are we gonna eat?! Everything on that menu looked and sounded . Now, for those who know me, I've been doing keto. I've been trying to stay disciplined and make better choices. But tonight? Not tonight. Tonight I was a FREE MAN. My wife ordered her food, looked over at me with that concerned wife look like, "Are you sure about this?" Ma'am... I had already made peace with my decisions. I added the wings and then ordered that big ol' Bap-something bowl with bulgogi -- and if I butchered the name, just know it was DELICIOUS. Then the food started arriving. And I gotta give them credit -- it wasn't a long wait at all. My wife's food came out first. Then... THE WINGS. And then came the main event. This bowl came out SIZZLING like it had been sitting over an open flame. TSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! I think that's the correct spelling for the sound. The young man serving it said: "Be careful, it's extremely hot." Brother... I dove into that bowl like I had signed a waiver saying Bonchon was no longer responsible for what happened next. And let me tell you... IT WAS FIRE. Beef, spinach (I think ), carrots, mushrooms, eggs... ...and then... RIIIIIIICE. Oh, rice... HOW I MISSED YOU. It had been so long. I was scooping rice, grabbing a bite of beef, hitting a wing, back to the bowl, back to a wing... At this point I wasn't eating. I WAS MR. MCGRUBBIN. I absolutely demolished that bowl. But before I went completely crazy on the rest of those wings, I thought... "Wait a minute... where's the spice?" So I called over my guy and asked for some hot sauce. He hits me with: "Sriracha or our house spice?" I said, "How spicy is the house sauce?" This man gave me the face... Immediately I said: "Bring it." I dipped my pinky in that sauce like I was a detective conducting a highly classified investigation. One taste. PURE. I poured that sauce over the rest of my food and immediately learned an important lesson: DO NOT INHALE WHILE EATING THAT SAUCE. That pepper will reach down into your throat and remind you that actions have consequences. I gave my guy the like: "You've done well, young Samurai." I told him the sauce was fire and jokingly said: "Man, this is like water." Meanwhile, my mouth was fighting for its life. But did I let them see me struggle? Absolutely not. I maintained my composure like a warrior. I couldn't finish all the wings, so of course I took the hot sauce to-go because apparently I had decided that tomorrow's battle was already scheduled. Overall, Bonchon was a great little anniversary-eve discovery. Good food, friendly service, attentive staff, reasonable wait, and flavors that definitely woke me up. And yes... I broke keto. But listen... It's our 15th anniversary. Sometimes you gotta put the chicken breast down, pick the rice back up, and just LIVE A LITTLE. Bonchon -- you got me tonight. And that house sauce? I'll be back for you. 5 stars from me!

This is my second time ordering from this establishment. The first time the food was really tasty…read more I ordered a burger with bacon and blue cheese. That's the reason I gave an extra star. This second time every was subpar. I'll start with the PROS: The true star is the oreo milkshake. No complaints, it was delicious! Not too thick nor watery, full of flavor! Definitely the STAR of the order. The French dip was not bad. It wasn't the best or delicious either, I'll say it was good ENOUGH. I'd personally like more cheese and flavor. The CONS: The jalapeño poppers. They were just eh, not too hot though, so that's good. Taste similar to frozen ones you get at the grocery store and put in the air fryer. The Philly cheesesteak was the worst of the order. The meat was tough, very chewy, and no flavor. I warmed it up to melt the cheese, yikes! The very little cheese that was on there. It just was not good at all. Ended up only eating a couple bites and taking a loss on that. Cheese fries were eh, they were very cold. The cheese looks like it was never melted, it comes with regular cheese and a cheese sauce. I was expecting tastier cheese fries, but they were at least edible. All in all, I'd say stick with the burgers and shakes. I will give this place another order and give this place a third try in the future and update the rating based on my next experience. This place has potential though!

Unfortunately, the pastrami sandwich was a disappointment. For a sandwich that costs around $16, I expected much better. The portion of pastrami was very skimpy, and there were barely any vegetables.
