The shipping worked out great, and the packaging was awesome, 12 bottles traveled from New Jersey to Northern Mi, everything intact, thank you read more

CONSUMER WARNING: Think twice before ordering from this company. Our wine shipment arrived with extensive liquid damage due to broken bottles during shipment. This was the second shipment attempt, and the company refused to provide a refund, replacement, or any compensation after the product was reported damaged by the carrier and photo evidence of the saturated and torn box were provided. Instead, they shifted responsibility to the customer, demanded additional photos that were impossible to provide after the broken bottles had been discarded by UPS, and responded with condescending and dismissive emails rather than taking ownership. Product packaging is not sufficient for shipment and does not include "FRAGILE" on the exterior of the box. Shipping damage can happen - especially with glass. Refusing to stand behind your product and treating the customer like the problem is unacceptable. After this experience, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. read more

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! Very disappointing experience. My husband and I have been buying this bottle for years, so we know exactly what we ordered. We received a completely different bottle that looked so questionable. We had serious concerns about its authenticity. We are confidant it is a fake. When I complained, the manager offered no credit, no replacement, nothing.Just told me to send the bottle back for a refund. I refused because, given my concerns about the bottle, I simply did not trust sending it back. No accountability, no effort to make it right, and absolutely no trust left. read more

Ownership changed. New owners are very different. Though I had paid the membership cost to have free shipping throughout 2026, they refuse to honor the agreement and now charge high shipping costs for any order less than $250. No reimbursement for the membership cost. In my last order, two bottles were wrong and it took a lot of arguing to get reimbursed; a very rude salesperson told me to just keep them for gifts, they were not going to send the right ones or reimburse. (A different salesperson finally reimbursed the cost; no option to get the bottles originally ordered.) Prices would be great if they didn't charge so much for shipping. I now shop at a different online wine company where shipping is free as long as at least 12 bottles are ordered, which is fair. I do not trust any company that fails to honor its agreements. Go elsewhere. read more

I purchased the $99 for a year of free shipping last Black Friday and it's been a great deal. Some bottles require you to buy 6 bottles to qualify for free shipping, but I think that's fair. I do prefer to purchase bottles from a few of our local wine shops, but have had decent luck finding bottles on Wine Chateau if I can't find something locally. read more

I do not recommend this company -- based on their behavior, it is very likely a scam. I ordered a few bottles of wine for a dinner party on **October 6**. After a week with no update or shipping confirmation, I emailed them asking when I could expect my order, since the dinner party was scheduled for **October 16**. They failed to provide any clear information, so I decided to **cancel my order**. Their customer service confirmed the cancellation in writing and stated that the refund would be processed within **5-7 business days**. A week later, I received an **automated email claiming that my package had been shipped**. I immediately contacted them again, but after several phone calls and emails, they kept changing their story -- first claiming that they couldn't stop the shipment, then saying they were unable to issue a refund through PayPal due to a "technical issue." Later they offered to send me a **check by mail**, but despite multiple requests, they never provided a photo or tracking details of the check. They continuously come up with new excuses for why they can't complete my refund request. The package itself hasn't moved at all -- it was supposedly shipped on **October 21**, yet its tracking still shows it stuck at the origin. I have **reported the issue to my bank**, which has opened an investigation and temporarily refunded the amount. However, the claim is still open on the bank's side, suggesting that the company is not cooperating there either. If you value your money and time, **do not order anything from this company** -- they are unreliable and untrustworthy. read more

Fast, reliable service and top notch products...looking forward to ordering again from here...thank you!!!

Exactly what I wanted and can't find it around here. Seemed to take a long time to ship, but as soon as it shipped only took 3 days.

The only issue I've encountered with my Wine Chateau orders is with the UPS delivery drivers. My package requires a signature upon delivery. For my last delivery, I scheduled to be home from 2:15 PM to 6:15 PM to accept it. I made sure to be present during that time frame, leaving the front door open so I wouldn't miss the delivery. However, the UPS driver approached my open door, did not ring the doorbell, and instead left a "Missed You" sticker on the front door before walking away. I walked back into the room just minutes later and saw the slip on the door. I quickly jumped in my car and chased down the UPS truck, as I couldn't be at home again to provide my signature. When I caught up with the driver, he never checked my ID or asked for my signature; he simply handed me my box containing three bottles of Grand Marnier. read more

I love the selection and the service. My only tiny suggestion would be to narrow the gap from order submission until shipment leaving your facility. That would get you the fifth star from me, but it's not a deal breaker for me. read more

I couldn't find locally a whiskey I wanted to buy. I did find it online. The first place I ordered from turned out to be a scam, but Wine Chateau is the real deal. Ordered with ease, they communicated throughout the process, and my whiskey arrived when they said it would (and impressively packaged to avoid breakage). I'm happy with the company & the service I received. read more

Thank you so much for your amazing customer service. The Prosecco that I ordered was out of stock and I needed it by a particular delivery date. I spoke to someone at Wine Château and they told me that they were hoping to get the item in stock and if they did, they would immediately ship it out. If not, they told me to call back and they would cancel the order and refund my money. I didn't have high hopes for the Prosecco being delivered, but sure enough- - just in the nick of time, I received my delivery! Thank you so much - - it was very much appreciated! read more

Interesting to read reviews after making an in-store purchase (thank goodness, because it seems like ordering online isn't the way to go. Admittedly I don't know much about alcohol and only went here to get my friend a gift for her engagement party. I left with two bottles of wine suggested by a friend. But like a few other reviewers, I got attitude from the woman on the register- likely because I was having a hard time deciding between champagne and wine for the occasion. I made a mental note that I would not return. I can't comment on their selection, because again, I don't really know. read more

I went here to find a specific wine on 23rd that their Website says they carry. They didn't have it and told me they would order it and let me know if they could get it or not. Not only did they never call me one way or the other, but when you try to call the store, you get a recorded message calling for you to leave a message but the call gets disconnected every time. Horrible customer service. read more

Delivered quickly! Packaged very well! DELICIOUS BOURBON! It was $10 more on this site but Wine Chateau is a good company to work with. Wish they would bring the price down with our awful economy. read more

Burned twice by phantom inventory! The first time they held my money for 3+ months with promises that the great wine deal I secured would be coming in in the next week or two (too good to be true- always call to confirm......many listed wines THEY DO NOT HAVE IN STOCK but they will readily accept your payment after your Google Search for your favorite wine directs you to your site). Today, another favorite I searched on Google showed up for an enviable price, but having been burned, I called to learn they had none " but we can order it!" I am DONE with these shysters! RUN AWAY! read more

the Prosecco is amazing!! The delivery service wasn't as stellar. Fedex was set to deliver on a Sunday, which was great since they require a signature.. they didn't deliver on Sunday.. they updated the delivery to a Tuesday between a certain time frame.. still, no delivery. They updated delivery to the next day and my husband had to miss work in order to be able to be there to sign for. Great prices! Free delivery! Looked for this wine all over, and found it here for about 20% less.

Great wines and liquor, UPS is the problem! Pain in the butt to reschedule, and costs more on top of the shipping cost.

They are blocking my ability to stop a yearly subscription despite the fact that they promote that a person can "cancel at any time". When I tried to send a message via their website, they wouldn't let me and kept saying "not the correct format". OK, after 30 minutes I couldn't get the correct format and with no advice as to what the problem was. Clearly, they do not want any communication or cancellations of subscriptions. I'll be trying their phone communication tomorrow during business hours. read more
