I do not recommend this company -- based on their behavior, it is very likely a scam. I ordered a few bottles of wine for a dinner party on **October 6**. After a week with no update or shipping confirmation, I emailed them asking when I could expect my order, since the dinner party was scheduled for **October 16**. They failed to provide any clear information, so I decided to **cancel my order**. Their customer service confirmed the cancellation in writing and stated that the refund would be processed within **5-7 business days**. A week later, I received an **automated email claiming that my package had been shipped**. I immediately contacted them again, but after several phone calls and emails, they kept changing their story -- first claiming that they couldn't stop the shipment, then saying they were unable to issue a refund through PayPal due to a "technical issue." Later they offered to send me a **check by mail**, but despite multiple requests, they never provided a photo or tracking details of the check. They continuously come up with new excuses for why they can't complete my refund request. The package itself hasn't moved at all -- it was supposedly shipped on **October 21**, yet its tracking still shows it stuck at the origin. I have **reported the issue to my bank**, which has opened an investigation and temporarily refunded the amount. However, the claim is still open on the bank's side, suggesting that the company is not cooperating there either. If you value your money and time, **do not order anything from this company** -- they are unreliable and untrustworthy. read more

The only issue I've encountered with my Wine Chateau orders is with the UPS delivery drivers. My package requires a signature upon delivery. For my last delivery, I scheduled to be home from 2:15 PM to 6:15 PM to accept it. I made sure to be present during that time frame, leaving the front door open so I wouldn't miss the delivery. However, the UPS driver approached my open door, did not ring the doorbell, and instead left a "Missed You" sticker on the front door before walking away. I walked back into the room just minutes later and saw the slip on the door. I quickly jumped in my car and chased down the UPS truck, as I couldn't be at home again to provide my signature. When I caught up with the driver, he never checked my ID or asked for my signature; he simply handed me my box containing three bottles of Grand Marnier. read more

I went here to find a specific wine on 23rd that their Website says they carry. They didn't have it and told me they would order it and let me know if they could get it or not. Not only did they never call me one way or the other, but when you try to call the store, you get a recorded message calling for you to leave a message but the call gets disconnected every time. the Prosecco is amazing!! The delivery service wasn't as stellar. Fedex was set to deliver on a Sunday, which was great since they require a signature.. they didn't deliver on Sunday.. they updated the delivery to a Tuesday between a certain time frame.. still, no delivery. They updated delivery to the next day and my husband had to miss work in order to be able to be there to sign for. If there was a store that had the brand, I would always have the wine in my home! read more

Interesting to read reviews after making an in-store purchase (thank goodness, because it seems like ordering online isn't the way to go. Admittedly I don't know much about alcohol and only went here to get my friend a gift for her engagement party. I left with two bottles of wine suggested by a friend. But like a few other reviewers, I got attitude from the woman on the register- likely because I was having a hard time deciding between champagne and wine for the occasion. Great wines and liquor, UPS is the problem! Pain in the butt to reschedule, and costs more on top of the shipping cost.

They are blocking my ability to stop a yearly subscription despite the fact that they promote that a person can "cancel at any time". When I tried to send a message via their website, they wouldn't let me and kept saying "not the correct format". OK, after 30 minutes I couldn't get the correct format and with no advice as to what the problem was. Clearly, they do not want any communication or cancellations of subscriptions. I'll be trying their phone communication tomorrow during business hours. read more

Burned twice by phantom inventory! The first time they held my money for 3+ months with promises that the great wine deal I secured would be coming in in the next week or two (too good to be true- always call to confirm......many listed wines THEY DO NOT HAVE IN STOCK but they will readily accept your payment after your Google Search for your favorite wine directs you to your site). Today, another favorite I searched on Google showed up for an enviable price, but having been burned, I called to learn they had none " but we can order it!" I am DONE with these shysters! I always ordered wine at this place maybe at least 50-100 bottles the last couple years.. there was several times they didn't have the product that I wanted, but they still took the money and then turned around and said they will send them out next month. I had to wait several weeks to get it, but I never wrote a review until this time. This time I ordered five bottles of wine and I got them all on time but one bottle the wine was leaking ..the liquor came out all messy..It was a gift for my business customer. I could not give them the Broken bottle. So I requested a replacement.. They said they're not gonna give us a new one. "..This is a very common issue they said..."..But I bought insurance for delivery too.. I could not believe I paid for full price + paid for insurance and got a broken bottle of wine and got an answer from the seller say it's a common issue.. ridiculous, Scam..!!!!!
