The ENTIRE back parking lot was full and EVERY horrible, selfish, ridiculous driver decided to be a complete nuisance for us innocent folk trying to knock out some errands before lunchtime. All the times I've been to this mall (to dine at one of the dozen options here) I had no idea there was a Costco or a "liquor shed" in the back of the complex. (Worth noting: I work Deck Neck in Newark and I'm well-versed in the lunacy of double and triple parking, among other offenses.) I think even the most seasoned Ironbound drivers would lose their cool if they came here. Eventually I had to park by the Chick-fil-A and walk to/from NB. Was it worth all the hassle and inconveniences? No. The layout is very clean (sterile) and they didn't offer any refrigeration and most of the beer selection seemed to be cans. A nice selection of wine as well as some odd/offbeat liquors and it was my first time encountering soju and that stuff is good. Real good. Real potent. (One bottle later that evening and it was nap time, I can't lie.) Would I make the trek back to NB? Only if I couldn't find soju elsewhere.

They also feature a great selection of beer and liquor. Unlike all those fancypants alcohol purveryors in Bergen County, they sell BOTH liquor AND beer. Myx moscato (nicki minaj) brand they have lolea red sangria which is served exclusively at the W hotels. I tried it in miami and its amazing. All in all i spent $44 on my last trip here for 2 small myx moscato cases with 4 bottles and 2 lolea red sangrias. Prices are great here. Free surface parking available. A completely weird and scary freak show going on at this liquor store…read more Went in to buy a nice bottle of scotch at Murphy's and as I'm walking through the store, I realize the guy at the front counter is watching my every move. Not in a helping way, but more being a bit of a stalker. I was creeped out by it but then figured he's just a bit weird. I then go to the same cashier to purchase my liquor and the guy says "why the F do you buy such cheap crap", then tosses the bottle on the counter to the point where I thought he had cracked the bottle and then continues cursing about why I would buy such a lousy bottle of scotch. It was one of those rare moments when I was so shocked, I was almost speechless and in fact initially thought he was joking and just with a weird sense of humor. I then realized the guy was completely smashed...either very drunk or drugged out on something. It was beyond disquieting and disturbing. There are others here on Yelp with equally strange stories about this place...you have to wonder how they stay in business and what all the creepiness is about.

As far as wine and spirits are concerned I have seen wider selections. The place isn't huge but it is moderated in space so you can find a few unique items if you look around. Pricing is moderate. Not bank breaking but not super cheap either. I think they have a good selection of generic, craft, and Polish beer. Most spots in the vicinity of Garfield and Wallington will have at least a few brands of Polish beer. These areas have a big Polish population so there is a nice demand for it. If you're a fan of Polish beer this should be on your list of places to acquire some as they have a nice selection of it. Parking lot sucks but that goes for every other adjacent business. I will updated with the business hours next time I stop in because I'm not sure if they are open past ten (since they are a bar as well). You are bound to find something you fancy here I'm sure.
