The staff is knowledgeable and so friendly. They have consistently made excellent recommendations over the years and they never try to upsell you for the sake of upselling. Another plus is that you can get your mixers here. Who hasn't forgotten the Diet Coke or club soda? And give me some of those fresh limes, please. Many a night, I've gone in for a bottle of this or that, and was pleasantly surprised by a wine/rum/moonshine/tasting by a wine rep. I visited with my husband the other day and were welcomed with a vodka and Prosecco tasting. So cool! Parking out the ass and accessible from Route 46 and Route 80. Then if you're like me - when you get to the intersection and see the 7/11 next to said 'depot' is twice the size and now you're tempted to get on the phone with your lawyer to pursue a court case for fraud and intentionally misleading the public. (I kid! I kid!) But I still ventured inside and you know what? It's clean, well-stocked, a really friendly gentleman behind the counter and the 'Depot' is completely... adequate. Nothing worth coming out of your way for with their beer selection or pricing. I did happen upon a vodka that was made in Kazakhstan (for your one friend that's still quoting Borat some 15 years later) otherwise their wine and hard liquor selection was decent. One interesting item: they have a 'bar' by the counter. I'm not sure if that's how it operated "BC" (Before COVID-19) or not but you rarely see that kind of set-up in North Jersey but much more common around shore towns. It's just minutes from the almighty Clemente Bakery so I'm sure I'd be back for the ease of getting good eats with some alcohol in one fell swoop.

I've had this test performed 3 times in suburban Baltimore. There, testing takes at most 3 minutes. Rite Aid Hackensack must have a reputation to live down to. I've been waiting 5 minutes for an attendant to merely acknowledge me in my car (23 minute wait with three cars ahead of me until I made it to the service window). I was finally spoken to, and the attendant said she needed a few more minutes for the pharmacist to pass by and give me directions! I've done this 3X before and it's hardly rocket science. I think I get why testing is not something you do in New Jersey.
