I highly recommend Windy Hill Kennel and Cathy Grandstaff. I honestly believe you can't do better than getting your Schnoodle or Schnauzer or Poodle puppy from this outstanding breeder! We just purchased our third Schnoodle (two prior Schnoodles from other breeders, one is still just a puppy herself!) and our experience has been night and day. Not only are Cathy's puppies gorgeous, robust, happy and well-started on positive behavioral traits with exposure to lots of sights and sounds, she provides each of her customers a 6-part series of informative videos - from what books to read to learn what you need to know, to what to feed your puppy, to how to trim the hair around his eyes, to a video tour of the Windy Hill kennels. As if that weren't above and beyond already, she also provides regular photo updates of your puppy during those 8 weeks from birth to coming home to you, as well as videos of him being weighed and snuggled and playing with his littermates. It's so exciting to see those new videos of your puppy and her litter posted! On top of that, your puppy arrives clean, clipped with ear-hairs and nails trimmed, spayed/neutered and microchipped. And if your puppy is being shipped to you - as ours was - a box arrives a few days ahead of time with everything you need to get started, including a bell for house-breaking, a starter bag of puppy food, shampoo, a cow toe to chew on, a stuffed cuddly toy with the scent of puppy's littermates AND Windy Hill Kennel T-shirts! But, perhaps most importantly, Cathy is always available to answer any questions you have before, during and after bringing your puppy home. Oh, and there's even a Windy Hill Kennels Pup Parents FB group for all of us who've purchased a WHK Schnoodle where we get to see how all of our puppy's littermates - and extended family - are doing. The photos are always adorable and it's so fun to watch all these puppies grow! And don't worry if you're not in Ohio, Cathy will ship your puppy. I was apprehensive about having our puppy shipped (we'd done that twice before with other breeders and I worried then, too), but our little "Phoebe" arrived in Seattle after an unexpectedly long travel day totally un-phased. She is such a happy, beautiful, bright-eyed Schnoodle, and so smart! She's 13 weeks old now and already knows a few commands - like "sit" and "come" and "leave it" and "no bark". And she loves playing fetch. Love this puppy so much and can't say enough good things about Windy Hill Kennel! read more
