I have also referred them to local High School Coaches and Athletic Directors for spirit wear and uniforms. Our non-profit youth basketball program orders for the last two years have all been on-time, never over budget wether it is a for a team of 12 or a League of over 40 players and we have orders every season due to the growing demand of Napa Valley Basketball Alliance and Legends Hoops AAU team growth. And all of the Coaches and Program Directors I have referred have been happy with the quality of team wear, cost and timeliness. Joe and Scott work hard to give good value and customer service and are successful at both. Beyond uniforms and spirit wear, they have a wide variety of sports equipment for most mainstream sports and will order what they don't have in stock. In fact we send a lot of players to get Shock Doctor insoles from them as they are the only local shop to have an account with this high quality sports protective equipment provider! Shop is easy to miss if driving down California Avenue but is an eye opener once inside, as they have a lot inside and keep growing! These guys know sports as Scott is a Hall of Fame athlete and Joe has been a top local Coach for many years in Napa. I hope they are open for a lot of years! Dubs is of course Warriors fans!

I took it to Sports Basement hoping that Sam was working and he was! He greeted me by name and asked how he could help. He called me 30min later letting me know that one of my spokes was broken and I agreed to the much needed repair. I got a text an hour later saying the bike was ready. I was expecting to pay $100 or more for the repairs when I came in Saturday morning, but was pleasantly surprised on how reasonable the total was. Sam was there again to explain what he found and adjusted. Incredible customer service!

Last time I went, I was purchasing work boots for my daughter for xmas, Redbacks. I like to support local business and they give a small discount on workshoes. Luckily I checked the receipt because the young dude had not given me the discount. When I requested the discount, he explained that they only give the discount for people using them for WORK, assuming that my darling daughter would not be using them for work. He smugly noted that some people buy them and don't actually use them for work. I assured him that they would, indeed, be used for work and after a few more back and forths, he relented and gave me a discount. Like many of us in the valley, we own a vineyard and a winery plus two of us have jobs in conservation, so yeah, our entire family wears Redbacks. The weird sexist and possibly racist assumptions and patronizing attitude made me very sad. It's cool that they are in the valley but I'm not sure I'm headed back. See the photo?
