Typical seaside B&B in a converted large townhouse on the North Shore. Run by a Welsh couple, outwardly friendly, but usual petty regulations and notices all over the place. Breakfast plentiful, albeit cheap ingredients and not brilliantly cooked (can't seem to master a fried egg with a runny yolk), but annoyingly only available between 09:00 and 09:30 awkward when you want to be away as early as possible. There didn't seem to be any flexibility about this. Room small but clean, beds quite comfortable. I get the impression their clientele is normally working men as the main feature of the downstairs is a large bar with a pool table. The signs advertise 4 ETB stars for guest accommodation I have stayed in much better places with only 3 stars. read more
