However, when I arrived, she seemed to misunderstand my situation. After seeing my hair and the reference photos, she recommended a caramel toner. The toner took about 15 minutes, and after styling, she told me my hair looked "luminous" and "lovely." In reality, it was very patchy with visible spotting and looked nothing like what I asked for. When I pointed this out, she blamed the previous stylist, which I understand--but she still chose the solution and reassured me it would work. She then suggested trying a darker toner, even though the first one barely made a difference. I felt like my main concern--looking good for my wedding--was not being taken seriously. Instead of honesty or a realistic fix, I felt dismissed. I ended up going somewhere else to correct my hair. Overall, I left feeling frustrated and without confidence in the service.

The skill levels vary among the staff here, and those who weren't up to the task never got greedy. There have even been temps here who handled my hair quite well, and were very knowledgeable. Granted, I never had my hair dyed here, nor have I had a special hair style done for an event. However, if someone will make mistakes on your hair, it better be someone with at least basic training. The mistakes made by someone with no training (like from several in the place I mentioned above) will lower your quality of life outside your home.
